Alternative Cancer Treatments-help

i have a friend who has cervical cancer.

I want nothing more than for your friend to improve. I really have no indepth knowledge of any specific "alternative" therapy, and benefits it may provide. My experience with Cancer has been with my daughter. Her treatment included participating in an experimental treatment and a formal long term study. So far, so good .

Anyway, if I were in your friends position, and traditional treatment was not resulting in remission, I would probably be checking into the various avenues you have posted links to. I hope she finds success.

I think that someone should do whatever they feel is in their best interest. However, "alternative" therapies are better called unproven therapies. No formal studies have been done to confirm, or deny, their affectiveness.

for me, the word was "loving".. great "loving" kindness.. great undeserved "loving" kindness!.

disfellowshipping is a "loving" provision.. when the wtbts want their accolytes to swallow another bitter pill, another restriction, another rebuke, another demand on time, the buzz word is "loving".. the "loving" word, is, to the average jw, the same as the mccabe nod is to the salesman.

the mccabe nod is used by salesman all the time to get the prospective customer to agree to something that he doesn't care for too much.

Well, Delite, I hope that you read your thread.

What has struck me, rereading your post, is that you say you have a son. You are aware that one day he will grow up to be a MAN. If we apply your mode of thinking to him, then all children should be kept safely away from his presense upon his arrival into adulthood.

Also, your future daughter-in-law should never allow him alone with his OWN kids. You certainly couldn't protest that. After all, she would only be following YOUR example, eh?

Good for you! See how completely embarrassed this ONE witness was when the policy of shunning is exposed to the public? The shame she felt was justified. I just wish it could be made common knowledge everywhere there are witnesses. People just have no idea how evil ,and insideous, an organization the WTS is.

hi all, just thought i'd mention something that's been bugging me a bit, i've noticed that a few ppl on this board are using gifs from internetbumperstickers.com.. i myself have gotten some amazing little gifs from that site, they seriously kick the llama's ass!.

there is only one thing: those nice guys at internetbumperstickers pay real money for the bandwidth they use, and when you guys link to their images in your sigs, that means that every unique ip that views this page (provided they are using an image-enabled browser) is going to download that image from their servers.

you might think that these tiny 2k gifs are nothing, but believe me, i was an administrator for a couple of websites, and the bandwidth adds up, and pretty soon you're paying through your nose for other people free loading.. the solution is a simple one: merely copy the files to your computer, find a server where you can stick them that allows public http access to files you can upload to it, ftp them onto the server, and then update your sigs to point to the new image location.
