I don't know if I look smart. My opinion would be biased, of course!
But I do look different...but not in the way that any of you could guess. (Cookies if anyone does, though!)
And I love to iron! Instant gratification never looked so good!
hi neatly-attired friends [i'm assuming]:.
i wanted to see if clothes-care matters have changed any since june 18th of last year.. do you do drip-dry?.
do you press clothes for money (i have)?.
I don't know if I look smart. My opinion would be biased, of course!

works piling up and i've got a ton of stuff to do - some of it might even be fun!
i've been posting at jwd/n for more than eight years and i'm sure i'll keep on doing it but from time to time it's useful to take a few months out.
clear your head, waste time in the garden instead of at a laptop, drink a little wine, dance with your daughter, laugh at the dog - you get the idea.
Just promise to take a picture when the dog starts laughing back at you! Enjoy!
she's home!.
the medical bed arrived yesterday at 10:15 am after i left the nursing facility and got it all set up.
it's a single bed with a regular mattress and a gel mattress on top of it.
Oh, you are such a beautiful person, Yiz! God will surely bless you for all that you've done for your lady wife.
does not look good either.. have you ever thought or said that?.

I agree, Cameo and CoCo. No matter how hard you try, in the end, there really is no pleasing such people.
I have had similar problems with certain relatives of mine (coincidently, the JW and ex-JW ones).
Am I wrong to expect a certain level of maturity and understanding from them? They certainly expect it from me. How I wish that those emotions were reciprocal.
I do not want to rude, but...I also feel that my good nature is being abused.
I love my family, but constantly hearing such childish accusations like "You have changed" when I won't give in to their demands, have set my teeth on edge.
I don't want to hurt them, but life is much too short for emotional bullying.
I have decided to gently and non-coercively help them to shape their personalities for the better...at least in my presence, anyway.

Thank you CoCo.
To answer you question:
Will it crush your spirit to acquiesce?
Are there any mutual benefits? Or are the benefits one-sided?
Will saying yes further the progress of humanity?
If you answered no to any of these questions, I would say to stay the course, and be true to your feelings.
Do not give in to emotional blackmail. No one else can live your life but you.

CoCo, I dislike that saying simply because it has its foundations in rudeness.
I am sorry to hear that you're feeling overwhelmed these days. It's been my observation in life that emotionally needy adults can be quite self-centered and selfish at times. If you have been dealing with that type of person lately, you have my utmost sympathy.

I really, really despise that saying.
i had the last in a series of tests and scans today and the verdict is that there are no signs of recurring cancer showing up!
needless to say, the day was very long (as has been this entire week) and i am still quite tired out.....but i am so relieved and so grateful that the healing hand of my precious savior has touched me once again.
he has blessed me.. thank you all for your loving prayers and your good wishes that have been so encouraging to me along the way.
Woo-hoo! Fantastic news!
