  From crap to Lemonade and Back

  it is amazing to me how the watchtower can turn crapinto phony lemonade, and on the rare occasions when they do have real lemonade, they have this unerring ability to turn that into crap!.

  watchtower makes a false prophecy about yet another end date = crap.. watchtower says that while end date was dead wrong, it was a good thing because it invigorated so many people to work even harder than normal = phony lemonade.. watchtower fires most people at bethel, leaving a good number of them without job skills, real world work experience and money = crap.. dubbies praise the "new arrangement" as being a "blessing" from jehovah = phony lemonade.. watchtower dashes all hopes of immediate deliverance by trashing its half century of tying armageddon to the lifetime of people who witnessed 1914 = crap.. dubbies claim that prophecy can only be understood after it is fulfilled=phony lemonade.. watchtower makes yet another false prophecy = crap.. watchtower blames dubbies for believing false prophecy = double crap.. watchtower leader fw franz says false prophecy would have been true prophecy but people wanted too much for it to be true = triple crap.. hundreds of thousands of jw quit because of crap false prophecy= great lemonade!.

  watchtower says false prophecy is good because it "weeds out" those "serving for a date" = phony lemonade.. watchtower says all elders are equal.

  I only started this thread becaue I inadvertently found a web-site to an ex-witness from my former congregation.

  A great guy. On his blog he described himself as a non-demominational christian but he was thanking GOD on the 15th anniversary of his baptism.

  He was baptised as a witness. Had the courage to leave and ovbiously still belives in that baptisam.

  From this thread he is the exeption to the rule.

  Witnesses don't tell you everything up front -They boil you slow like a frog!

  put a frog in boiling water and he jumps out....but turn the heat up slow and he will boil alive.

  {i hate brothers using this in talks} imagine if the witnesses told you up front what life as a witness will be like.. 1. you can never leave us when your baptized...ever, for any reason, your a witness for the rest of your life.

  we will disfellowship you for leaving.. 2. you and your family members must be trained to be willing to die rather then accept blood transfusions, even escaping from the hospital and or pulling out the drip.

  I came to the realisation that I have much to look-forward to this year. But all these plans are in the future. I enjoy my family life and being with my son. But in terms of accomplishment I would love to find something really worthwhile to do with my life today !!!
