i found this ad in january 15, 1922 golden age:.

i found a notice in june 24, 1922 new york times that "upper lubrication" of manhattan renamed itself to "upper lubrication co.", but that's all..

i do not know if it has been posted before but as of this week saturday is no longer a normal workday for bethel workers.. .

also touring of bethel will no longer take place on saturday.. .

I was wondering if nobody scanned the previous 3 brochures of pay attention. I noticed that in the MTS book they where still referenced together with the 1991 edition.

MINISTERIAL TRAINING SCHOOL

who studied in ministerial training school?

who has notes?

who has writing-books with records?.

There are no books to keep only loose leafs that you need to return after the school.

The pages are starting with the homework which is devided in 2 parts the primary part which you can do and the secondary part that is to much to study for "normal people".

Than comes the part with assignments. Those are divided under the lessons for that day. You get an assignment for almost every day and it can be just being a 5 minute talk or you have to go in the fieldservice on the platform where another student is the householder who has prepared himself to tell you why jw's are wrong but you do not know what he is going to say except that it has been part of the homework, but some get larger assignments like the public talk assigned which they can do at the meeting.

If someone would have copies he would probably have to take them in a bag and go copy them somewhere else.

Organized to do.... book question

i was watching a video and the guy said the 'oraganized to do jahs will' book is for members only as well as the elders 'pay attention..flock' book.

i knew about the elders book and can understand why they don't want members or outsiders looking at that one but what would a r & f jw say at the doors if a householder asked for the 'organized..' book?

the usual 'get back to you on that'?

The book should be in the KH Library according to the KM. But many elders do for some reason fear to do so. When I asked an elder why it was not in the Library he said that everybody could read it, if they did. So I asked him, and that would be bad because? He did not reply. So I asked him that if the GB told him to put a copy in the Library and he did not obey, how would the GB look at such a person? No reply.

if you have something worth analyzing why not upload it to the archive.

maybe someone can upload more old convention speeches and more of the old rutherford/knorr records or some other interesting old recordings.. .

Funny that the elders that have opposite views are not expelled for being an apostate, since only 1 (or none) can be right. I remember one elder that used to say things that where opposite of the views expressed in the watchtower, but we always misunderstood him or he never said it or he said I am truly sorry,(77times) and that was that and then some time after that he pointed out that he was an elder and his view should be respected we should not contradict elders that if we did, that would be harmfull to us. (because? if you want to become a pioneer he will tell you NO You cannot become a pioneer because You disrespect elders)

I thought that the entire New Testament {Christian Greek Scriptures} was written by anointed Christians

But the language in the English version is a lot clearer then in some of the translations in other languages{they might have been translated by people that where not anointed of course}

The Dutch translation for example uses the Dutch word Gij which is not used in common language for ages, it might be in use in Belgium Flemish.

The English translation said that they did not use They and Thou the word Gij is sort of like that but instead of using language that people realy use they left it in, probably because mainstream translations also kept using it.
