  i dont hate the governing body, nor the president.. not even rutherford.. after reading all that old dub material i came to believe all those old croakers running the org are just pathetic, brainwashed old men, trapped in their 60 years of organizational experience.. i feel sorry for the old fossils.. imagine all the life experience theyve missed out on.. imagine the disaapointment when they finally go up the tunnel of light into death and find out theyve been slaves to an entity that eats souls.. they just dont know any better.. i pity them.

  It's all relative, isn't it? If they want to push the publications out, then the old books are fine and dandy.

  However, if they have had "new light", or have "tacked" since that last publication came out, then they don't really want that publicized!

  i have, quite recently i began to take particular notice of one posters writings, and i thought to myself - 'that fella has got his head screwed on!'.

  a week or so later said "fella" made a reference to her husband!

  it happens to me on occasion and i've been totally out for years.

  I honestly have that thought "what if the JW's have been right" cross my mind, mainly because my parents and grandparents are in the truth. And also I only became disentangled from the JW organization about a year ago.

  When that happens, I remind myself how cruel and unchristian they can be (in the disfellowshipping and enforced shunning arrangement), and I remember how they lord it over you and basically try to run your life. Then I think, God wouldn't want that sort of control -- after all, he gave us free will (2 Cor. 3:17 -- 'where the spirit of Jehovah is, there is freedom')

  And then I come back to this evil, apostate board and read all the experiences people have gone through, and all the false prophecies that have issued from the supposed 'faithful slave'. Before long, I'm feeling very fine again to be on the "outside"!!

  JW technology is the best!!!

  new software has been developed by the brothers at the london bethel which heralds a major advancement in computer controlled publishing.

  it has been described as the biggest step forward in the integration of artificial intelligence and real time content authorship ever to be achieved.

  the basis for the break through was the merger of two systems which have been in use at jehovahs witnesses printing facilities for some time; the multi-lingual photo-type setting system and the cd edition of the watch tower library.. two huge cray computers running neural-net design artificial intelligence engines scan old copies of watchtowers, awakes and numerous other witness literature and re-draft the information into an entirely new and palatable form complete with pictures and various other resources from a un database.

  What Satanic Rituals???

  in a recent post metatron and judith mentioned in passing that dubs they knew had been involved in satanic rituals.

  forgive my morbid curiousity, but exactly what sorts of rituals were these?.

  bear in mind that as dubs we were told that the rituals of the roman catholic church were satanic, that smurfs were satanic, that rock'n'roll was satanic, etc., etc.

  I thought of that too, before posting. But still what the Memorial shows is an ABSENCE of Christ & spirituality rather than the ACTIVE worship of the Devil. Point of view, anyone can disagree.
