Actually, from what I hear, they are sending a lot of them in the field, like special pioneers and CO's to crack the whip on the rank & file so their #'s keep going up especially in the U.S.

Are the 30 minute public talks becoming SERVICE talks?
by truthseeker inif you take all the fluff out of a public talk, i,e.
the "state of this system of things," the bad news report, negative stats.
you're basically left with a service talk, aimed not at the public but the dubs.. i noticed that when the public talks were cut by 15 minutes what resulted was a 30 minute service talk or at the very least, a 30 minute local needs talk because all congregations seem to have the same problems.. these talks definitely seem to have a harder tone to them because you have all the counsel compressed into half an hour.. have any of you here who still attend noticed this?.

I agree with the "harder tone" part. I think they are just trying to scare use into obedience and yes its more compressed. They need to shorten the WT study too. I'll be glad when my fade is complete.

The Slave is sooo concerned about Great Crowd
by senora inso yesterday i bump into a jw i knew since i was a little girl.
so she says to me... at our last local needs the brother said that the faithful slave is soooo worried about the great crowd... so i was like why?
and she says.... because the great crowd is so diisobedient, they just don't listen and the great tribulation is upon us and they are worried about how the gc is going to make it if they are so disobedient.. i felt like screaming.. did they ever think for a second that the gc is sick and tired of them making all of these crazy demands on people's lives who are adults and but yet not allowed to make decisions for themselves or think for themselves?

The GC thinks they are crazy and are sick of the stickin FS. with the demands that they put on people's lives its no wonder nobody's listening to them. The FS doesn't want them to have any type of a normal life, their rules are just too impossible to live by and everyone is getting FED UP. Yea, that's what I felt like saying, but couldn't, so there, I said it here.
Then on the other hand, I wanted to burst out laughing. I guess they see that they are loosing control and that's what they are really worried about. The GC is just not putting up with the FS's crap anymore.

Is the WBTS still an NGO in other courntire?
by senora ini am new to this site and would be classified as a fader, i just go to maybe one meeting a week and am nearing the end of my fading process.. what bothered me first was the pedophile problem then just reflecting on how crazy jw's act, i think they are too obsessed with worshiping men, especially the gb, elders, co's, do's, its just too crazy.
i've personally seen elders do some very wrong things and they don't get in trouble at all.
then i realized that these men are so corrupt because they don't believe what the wt teaches.

so i started doing research on the internet to find out just exactly what kind of an organization i'm a part of and as you all know already, i found out i'm in a cult. yes its a cult alright and a very good one at that. i have to say, they are very good at what they are doing, the power they have over people bogles my mind. i'm just glad my eyes are opened.
so i write all of this to say that in my research i came across the NGO situation. i knew about the affiliation from '91 to 2001 but then i found this video on youtube and it's in german and its basically saying that the WBTS is still an NGO in 2007 with the WTsociety in Russia and Germany. I would like to know your thoughts on the video, is this true?
because that would mean that the explanation about the library card in 2001 is not true.i pasted the link below and i also put the title of the video under just in case the link doesn't work.

a scientific study listed britain's 20 most used dangerous drugs in order.
not only did it show that the old classification system of illegal drugs is not a true representation, it shows that so-called legal drug such as alcohol and tobacco are high up on the list above some illegal drugs and result in many more deaths.

well i'm in the process of fading and i did attend my last circuit assembly recently and they gave almost an entire talk on alcoholism, it was unbelieveable.
i think that talk was about alchol drinking, watchting too much tv and greed (eating too much). they also had demonstrations on drinking and a demonstration on too much tv watching. instead of watching tv, study with the family, i couldn't believe it. to me it was like they don't want us to watch tv at all nor drink at all. and of course it was brought out not having large gatherings at all because people might drink. and it was also brought out not to surf the net.
i was of course nausiated and determined to continue to fade even quicker that initially planned.

My Best friend (JW) wants to know why i won't return to KH
by freedomfighter intezza and me have been friends since we were 4 yrs old.
we share a long history and were both raised in "the truth".. recently, his sister, his sister-in-law and myself have left the org.
( all seperate situations).. anyway, next week he wants to go to the nearest pub with me, and shoot some pool, have some beers and a long chat.. when he asks why am i not coming back.

I have to say I'm more like a semi-fader and when i do go, all i would hear is.... the slave is gods channel, worship the slave and the elders who are spirit appointed and I just disagree with that. they're trying to drill it in everyone's head so ferociously, it amazes me. like if they say it enought it willl stick, which it does, but not with me. i think they have their own interest at heart, they don't want the numbers to go down nor do they want the money to dwindle either. they want to scare everyone into thinking that they are from god and do what they say.

I got it from friends in the Borg. I'm a fader and they don't really know yet.
but like someone said... they don't display the fruitages of the spirit at all, they're not fooling me.
