Heads up for Safari users, 5.0.1 working great with JWN!

hi jwners,.

just upgraded to the latest version of safari and some of the new features are great http://www.apple.com/safari/whats-new.html.

the ad blocker extension is working great on all sites so far, this one included.. also, now safari shows you the threads you have clicked on already :).

i did not know where to start, but figured the personal experience section was a good place to begin.

won't bore you with all the particulars today....but i was raised in "it" (wont call it the truth, cause it ain't) from about 1968. baptized in 1985, faded about 2001.....woke up from the insanity after reading ray franz forbidden book a few years ago(crisis).

only sorry i did not read it earlier....but there was that fear factor instilled in me.

I have a Mac Book Pro running 10.6.4 with Safari 5.0.1

I expect you'll be fine with your nice new Mac but you can always try Firefox.

I keep it on hand for the odd site (usually has flash) that won't function with Safari.

Here's another verse that makes no sense using the WT theology.

Isaiah 43:10 (English Standard Version)

10 "You are my witnesses," declares the LORD,
"and my servant whom I have chosen,
that you may know and believe me
and understand that I am he.
Before me no god was formed,
nor shall there be any after me.

Hang on, the WT claim Jesus is "a god" and was made by "Jehovah God"?!

Also, the Holy Spirit actually SPEAKS in the Bible. It tells people where to go. It is not like electricity, as JWs like to claim.

The WT don't want any one hearing from the Holy Spirit so they make Him an impersonal "active" force.

He has plenty to say.

John 14:15-26 (New International Version)

Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit

15 "If you love me, you will obey what I command. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be [ a ] in you. 18 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. 19 Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Think About It's ignorance did not go ignored here.

There is another question that needs a proper answer that has been ignored.

How did Jesus raise Himself from the dead if He was "conscious of nothing"?

Think About It The Holy Spirit is not even mentioned.

Romans 8:9-11 (New International Version)
