hello it's been a long time since i was here just needed some input please from all loving parents...would you rather your daughter be:

1. married to a guy who's not really that great (history of having lotsa women, irresponsible) but seems to love/like your daughter.

2. be gay (with woman who is quite good, responsible and everything but - a woman...).

i feel that i'm not going to be happy if my family's not happy..they are very important to me..and i think even if i ask my friends about this they'll say i'm crazy..i dont think it's really normal..

Then there was the whole idea that being gay was the same thing as being an alcoholic or a drug addict, and I could "stop if I wanted to." (And for those of you who are straight and think this might work, ask yourself if some counseling and prayer would make you want to be gay? Nope. Didn't think so.)

thank you very much for your concern and support..i really appreciate it...it's really hard when grew up always feeling guilty about the littlest things you did that were against the jw laws ..then now it's like breaking one of the 'major laws/bible laws' if i choose that path...cant blame em coz they just want what's best for me but not necessarily what i want for myself...on the other hand..it's like my happiness depends on my fam's happiness too..that i cant really stand if they are so disappointed....

littletoe -- it's really been a long time...i hope everything's fine with you...never thought in those past years that ive chatted with you that i'll be here asking this kind of question....no inclinations whatsoever before!! i think im crazy..

joy -- i'm alright dont worry about me..

joyyyyyyyyyy...it's good to hear from you..thanks.problems never seem to end..some moments of happiness in exchange for more moments of sadness and sorrow..why is life like this...it just worsens...better off ..it's harder when someone makes u feel like they own you..only way to prove that my life is mine is i have the power to take it.

maybe the society you're in is more tolerant but where im coming from is not...and will maybe take a long time before considering gayness as not something bad...but again question is who here has gay or bi children...? how did you cope with and how did your children come out to you..?

hello joyzabel (did you change your nick)...im not that great now...it's really been a long time......

thank you to all who have answered..im really a confused person right now...im just trying to see from a parent's point of view..i wonder why what's happening is so very much different from the responses i got.

it's hard when we hurt the people we love...sometimes it's better just to disappear and dont cause them too problems or shame
