havent really dloaded movies coz i have crappy dsl....but i do download tv shows which we dont get here....as for movies..i would think it will be better to buy coz it costs about $3 here for pirated dvds and about half for pirated vcds....

Questions about Satanism and the Occult
by Ashraven ini was just wondering what thoughts some of you may have on the topic of satanism and/or the occult.
i doubt that i am alone in my curiosity, being that we were told that the "practice of spiritism is detestable to jehovah" and all that, but now are free to explore as we wish.... i've actually embraced certain views after a few years of self-discovery, and now have zero fear in acknowledging the fact that i do find the subject interesting enough to practice.. i may or may not get "slammed" for having certain opinions.
just wondered if others have gone in an entirely opposite direction since leaving "the truth"... (i always hated it being called that...).

interesting...sometimes it gets me thinking that people in the 'west'/us/europe experience less of these kind of things coz from where im from (philippines) let's speak of asia those things are somewhat common..even if our country is predominantly catholic, people would tend to believe in those stuff they actually mix it would catholicism making it folk catholicism...especially in the provinces...one could even go to the 'local version of witches' to cast a curse on a person..
as for me, i do believe in these stuff but im too scared to learn more about it..like opening third eye scares the shit out of me...but there's actually a subject offered in school which does that kind of stuff.... -

by LoneWolf inand if you read some snarls in between those words, you don't know the half of it.. my wife asked me to go to the memorial last night, and i decided to go if for no other reason than to keep tabs on what's going on.
those who know my story know that my situation is unusual.. just before we left she came to me privately and said that she had something to tell me before i heard it from anyone else.
she knows exactly how i feel about the society, and was scared as to my reaction, and i don't blame her: there's hell to pay.. jeff strebe committed suicide the night before.

from where i'm coming from, i don't find it hard to believe in the occult or whatever u call it coz lots of stuff are shown on tv about people getting possessed and all other weird stuff u can never imagine....scary actually especially the feeling that it's quite possible..sometimes u might think that it's all hoax but i dunno...

The Memorial has just Started
by Prisca inwell, it's almost 7pm in sydney australia and no doubt some congregations would be starting their memorials very soon, if not already.
due to the overcast conditions, i can't see the moon, but one of the special things about this time of the year is seeing the full moon, which reminds me of the specialness of the memorial ritual held for me as i was growing up.. this is the second time in my entire life that i will be absent from the memorial.
it was strange last year to be not attending for the first time ever, but this year i feel more comfortable about it.. i'm not sure why.
