  i cannot find a scripture from psalms.

  my mind is drawing a blank this evening.

  the scripture speaks of a mere boy playing over the hole of a cobra and the wolf and the lamb will eat straw.

  i no longer know how to pray.

  who do i pray to?

  i no longer worship the god of jw's, jehovah.

  Happiness and the minds of JW's

  if god is termed "the happy god" and he truly wants people to be happy, even in the present sense, then why are so many witnesses unhappy, miserable deep down inside, popping who knows what kind of prescription pills, and even driven to the point of suicide?

  can witnesses ever truly measure up?

  we've been told: "the new system will take care of everything"; "don't get an education in the world"; "don't save for retirement".

  i spent 20 long years in the society.

  the one thing they pounded into your head esp at convention time is honesty.

  jehovah's people are the most honest in all the earth.

  i know that the co recieve a small allowance from the society , plus the local cong take care of health and car insurance( which is still more than some individuals get).

  when the co makes his semi annual visit to the local cong the publishers like to donate $$ to the co and his wife.

  i remember one cong i attended in texas.

  i would get so embarresed in fields service when the person i was working with would be bound and determined to find someone at home.

  i have not written one yet and have looked into the reasons if i should.

  this applies to anyone who was batized in 1985 or later.

  the society made changes to the questions at baptism that year.

  jw's view of dress code for women

  the dress code that the society imposes on the women has been a thorn in my side ( manner of speaking).

  theses old men dictate how a women should dress and i do mean "a dress".

  i can remember when i lived in connecticut and the temp would be in single digits and when it came time for field service you must put on that dress.
