  Zebras (Awake! magazine Jan 2001)

  well, weve been in our new house now for almost two years, and we finally got our first visit from the witnesses, a couple of days ago.. two very nice middle-aged ladies stood on my doorstep, asking me would i accept their two magazines for free?

  - they were old issues from january well, how could i refuse?.

  its gods will that zebras are striped and thats the beginning and end of it.. for an educational magazine this is just a disgrace.. can you hear the voice of the great teacher in this?

  i've actually been seeking reinstatement for almost six months now.

  by getting married, i've removed the next-to-last obstacle to being a part of jehovah's clean people once again.

  congratulations to the spanish people, who voted the socialists to power as a protest against the conservative government's supporting bush's war on iraq, and for claiming the madrid bombs were acts of the eta nationalists and not an al-qaida attack because of the war on iraq.. so one government has fallen, and there are many more to come, bush.. who says these days ain't fun?

  This had nothing to do with terrorism, this had to do with the Spanish PM being an American ass kissing liar.

  Not exactly. Some to do with terrrorism, but yes, a lot to do with the former Spanish PM supporting America, turning a deaf hear to the wishes of the people.

  The guy was an idiot who tried to use the bombing for political gain and tried to pass it off as internal strife to victimise the basque people yet again.

  Correct. He tried to play the Spanish people for a fool; not even the hurried UN resolution to blame ETA worked. Good for a people to be alert.

  This is not a message that terrorism wins, this is a message that if you lie to the people and do not listen to the people then you will get your ass kicked out of office.

  Add to that that when you go against the wish of the people in a matter of war, you have total responsibility to make sure the home front is safe. That's where the outted Spanish govt failed; and they deserve what was coming for the stupid attempt to pile it all on ETA.

  **** Not exactly. You may politely ask elders about it; you may write to the WTS about it; but you may not discuss contentious issues with several others. You may have to do what the WT literature says before there is any official change.

  Pierced Tongue

  my 45 year old wife went out and had her tongue pierced on friday, the 13th.

  i say it's mid life crisis, reclaiming her spoiled youth.

  however...there are the suppossed benefits that come with this....so, come on guys...is all the hype about oral from a pierced tongue what they make it out to be?
