The Watch Tower Society has sown the wind...
.
in compliance with the terms of a settlement agreement, my information and research web site, http://quotes.watchtower.ca, is now "dark".
the domain "watchtower.ca" has been transferred to wts (i assume they will have it pointing to borg.org watchtower.org asap).
my copies of the site have been destroyed, the files deleted, and my wt library cd has been destroyed, in accordance with the settlement agreement which will afford a "discontinuance" of their suit against me.

i do.
i'd like to tell all of you active jw spies that i appreciate it when you tell us the latest.
cyber-sista: would you be kind to give the location (if online) of the "secret child custody brochure"?
Many thanks.

i do.

Yes, I do. And I like sending it, discreetly, eh, by email to Dubs who know I'm almost as good as out.

words fail me in describing my anger at the arrogance and truly evil scheming by the wt against quotes.
please discuss here how this site helped you, and what we can do to set up mirror sites from offshore isp's.. pm me if necessary.. quotes really helped me in my search, and i want it to be there for searchers.. .
and this is for you, ted jarascz.
someone with more 'tech' knowledge needs to answer this for us.. the wt has current control of the quotes.watchtower.ca website.
if they put something on it to forward requests to view to the 'real' wt site can they look at and trace back ip addresses to us.. if it is yes then the next thing we will see is the lawyers sending lawsuits to isp's thru-out the country wanting the names of those individuals.. or am i really paranoid on this one.. let them come after me i really don't care at this point in time.
but i would rather have this happen on my timeline and not theirs.

Hahaha WTS:
sow and reap : wind and whirlwind.
they will never prevent the truth about their satanic religion.
http://watchtower-quotes.ath.cx/ .
keep cool .
It's up again.
People need to download the zip file; very useful for personal use.
Now, who has an email list of Watchtower Branches? They need to know their lawyers have got much more work to do.
Phoibos_2, thanks to you.
"Sowing the wind, reaping the whirlwind"- how very apt!

that was the comment that a former elder made at the local meeting today in his comment.
evidently, he and his wife heard a bethel speaker's comment during his talk say that (i believe the figure was) 167,000 people did not get disfellowshipped but simply left.
the ex-elder made it a point to say that the elders should be watching to help out the flock before they up and leave.
Is someone able to expatiate on the original statement by the elder?
Is this the number of people who dissociated themselves?
Does this number include inactive people?
Doe sit mean those publishers the Organisation isn't able to account for?
160,000 is a big number, even if it's less than 3% of the total JW population.
.
a few points oldsoul made on the forum a while back which jehovahs witnesses have no explanation for.
i asked a witness and he gave me these answers.
please leave any comments.
Lime, what does it matter that God knows who they are? god may know, but He sure doesn't appear to be telling the Governing Body. The GB made the claim, they should be up to proving it. Why may this be important? It should be interesting to know who the Slave was at about 1850, or 1860, or up to 1900. Do you see this? How was that baton of responsibility passed around until it rested on the GB of Jehovah's Witnesses. And then, there remains the matter of what they were teaching when they claimed that were given that authority in 1919. Almost everything they taught in 1919 is now discarded; can God be responsible for that? Or, was Jesus fooled?

i came across this test of perception.
this is not a joke, nor one of those screaming videos which make your heart stop.
take the test... most likely 70-80% of you will answer incorrectly, showing your own likelihood of making mistakes.
I counted 13 or 14; minimum 13, maximum 14 ('first pass').
startingover: it appears you didn't instruct that the sequence be watched once :)
leolaila: how many times did you view the video? AlmostAtheist: excellent info about your experience; your observations are consistent with published research. You probably wouldn't've missed it were you to be counting passes by the black shirts; most people (perhaps >55% or so) 'll miss the G the first time when they're counting passes by the men in white; it's called "Inattentional Blindness" (IB)...
There's a 2000 Harvard paper on this research.

hi all, this post comes from the e-watchman site, when i get the mags, i will post further.. http://e-jehovahs-witnesses.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=433.
the following is taken from the watchtower of january 15, 2006, page 23 under the heading 'resist the foremost apostate': .
'because of listening to the devil and not rejecting his lies, the first human pair apostatized.
integ, Assemblies're probably a different thing. Many attend simply for the social bonding; the same goes for high-profile JW events. Save for those who have nowhere else to go and those who're ruled by fear (of rejection, of losing their social connections and those simply too old to leave etc - which is pretty much a large chunk!), the JWs are in some trouble. The younger generation aren't joining in; it'll be a while before it all becomes clear. In my area, new JW members are usually refugees; in the local congregation, no native has been baptised in the congregation for over 5 years except for 2 children of JWs, yet, attendances of PT and WT Study 're good.
