Why would they change their names do you think their getting ready to make a run for it, with our hard earned donated cash and service? There are Ex-JW's all around the world who could keep an eye open for them, although most of the ones that were there back in the seventies when I was at Bethel are probably in the nursing home not out living the high llfe.
Lol, I wasn't even thinking that.... I was thinking they legally changed there name to attempt to hide something they did in there past... A crime or something...

Shocking rules in the past/ present of society...
by cognac innot a rule anymore;.
1. you couldn't get a divorce if mate cheated on somebody of the same sex or an animal.
2. you couldn't get an organ transplant.

I never saw a case like that per se... but I bet a dollar the BOE would make things rough if one sought a PPO against a fellow member. Remember ...these are guys who figure your getting laid if your car spends the night a freinds house.
True... I'm gonna start a new topic on this... Maybe there's an elder still "in" who would know...
That's shocking!

but Sister Cognac... you did approach your bro or sis in the spirit of Matt 17?
~Hill
Are you serious? What if you can't go to the person because you have a restraining order against the person? I mean, where is the cut-off that says its ok to have a case against somebody? If they murder your friend? If they rape you? Would that be ok to have a case like that and still have a position?

We had a guy who needed to sue another JW over some contracts... The BOE told him he would be stripped of priveleges...and DF if he pursued the case and won.
The other guy had clearly broken the contracts (a possibly some criminal laws)...
What if you have a restaining order against a someone? What if it was a federal case?

I asked this in another thread but got no answer so I'm gonna ask it here also:
If you have a lawsuit against another JW, can you have extra priviledges like being an elder, pioneer, etc?

So I grabbed the microphone out of his hand and screaming in it. (I was like 2 or 3 - my parents told me this)... And that wasn't all... Nobody could get the microphone out of my hands quick enough cause 1st they had to get to me over all the crap in our row and over the kids, then I had a death grip on the microphone so the couldn't get it out of my hands...
lol, I heard about that for years...
Ok, now your turn!
