Fenton is south/west about 20 miles from down town SL. If you only have the evenings available the arc will most likely be closed by the time you get there...however there is a area down on the river front just north of the arch that is called "The Landing" it has a lot of good places to eat and night life.

You might want to check out the west/port plazza area, it is not to far from where you will be. Lot's of unique outdoor shops and places to eat. There is a casino in St Charles and if you don't like to gamble check out Dave and Busters in earth city. It is an upscale adult video archade and restaraunt. a lot of fun and always packed with people.

You can get free tours of the Anhiser (sp?) Bush breweries and they give a two free beers at the end. Call ahead for times, not sure how long they run in the evenings.

The St Louis zoo and St Louis Sience center are both free of charge.. again not sure how late they stay open at night.

I live two hours away and it's hard to get there on a week night.

We strongly believe victims need and deserve sympathy along with loving personal support and are already committed to doing what we can to render such assistance.

And how and what type of personal support do they provide? Is there training provided to elders on how to provide support of sexual abuse?

How about someone test the system. If there is anyone here who is still active or even semi-active who has experienced abuse even if it was a long time ago, maybe they could go to the local elders and ask for some personal comfort and support and see what happens.

Stay busy and you wont have time to think about how you were raped is the personal comfort that you will probably get. Not very comforting in my opinion.

It would be interesting to see if anything changes when a vicim does come forward in the future. Will they stop trying to cover up? Will the victim continue to be silenced?

Maybe since the WTS is into the production of full length videos they could get the rights to remake Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds" to be added to all the Dub's theocratic video collection.

They could get a lot more graffic than the origianal film that was last released in 1962. And they would be able to get around a "R" rating since it is sactioned by holy spirit.

Just think of the excitement of all the Dubs getting to watch the birds pluck out the eyes of all those people and won't have to feel guilty for sneaking to a R rated movie.
