i keep noticing that people refer to their deity as a "he".

why is that?

i have never had anyone demonstrate to me that his or her deity has a penis.. "as every one knows, there are mistakes in the bible" - the watchtower, april 15, 1928, p. 126 .

Should US/UK hit Iraq???

wondered what the consensus was.

here in the uk, blair seems set to support bush in hitting iraq but there is not wholesale support in the uk.

there is some dissent in other countries.

CO reveals meaning of Ps 91

had co visit this week...very interesting...about this dangerous world.

yesterday he revealed the meaning of ps 91. here are my notes on it if yer interested.. ps 91:1-3 - anyone dwelling in the secret place of the most high, will procure himself lodging under the very shadow of the almighty one.

i will say to jehovah "you are my refuge and my stronghold, my god in whom i trust".

I thought about the state of the world last night and whether I truly believe what the CO said. I thought, well WHAT does the world have to offer? Murder, crime, suicide, death, old age, sickness, hate, poverty, starvation, greed, mismanagement, pollution, illness caused by pollution, war, filth, debased behaviour, family hatred....I pretty much balk at that!!!!
But then there is the prize the bible offers, everlasting life, youth, vitality, peace, paradise, animal companionship, contentment with family, toling for oneself and benefiting yourself from your toil, instruction from Jehovah on how to really enjoy life the way he intended us to and reaching human perfection. No satan to bring us down to his level because of his jealousy.......

Open up your mind and let me step inside
Rest your weary head and let your heart decide
It's so easy when you know the rules
It's so easy all you have to do
Is worship Tinkerbell

I have read this many times...and actually to be honest I struggle with it according to strict interperetation.

Lets look at it:

Back then it MAY have come in 1975...NOT years....MAY MAY MAY

does this mean I will defend the WTBS....NO WAY. But if I was a JW I would certainly show you the word "MAY" and say that we were simply encouraging alertness....

They are a slippery bunch of snakes...

when i was young i used to love reading comic books and still have a collection.the marvel commics were always my favorite.although i liked alot of the different characters i would have to say spiderman was my favorite .i can't wait to see the movie it looks so cool from the previews.so common i know some of ya are into comics ,let's have it whose your favorite super hero or villian?
