  when you have the "who is the poster you like least competition" i know this post will enable you to choose gravedancer as a prime candidate but tfb here goes:.

  it would seem as if everyone here is convinced that the organization of jehovah's witnesses is rife with molestors and they are raping kids at every juncture and every chance they get.

  perhaps with the latest attention silentlambs has been getting this issue is just more prevalent but the reactions of some seem so stooped in personal bitterness that they are willing to just blindly accuse any jw of being a molestor (even when they know nothing else about that person other than the person is a jw).. true i agree 110% that the policy of the 2 witness rule needs to be changed immediately and victims should be encouraged to go to the police.

  i was driving home today and i had a thought (a totally new experience i admit).

  i think i can reconcile some of the answers to the thought but for some discussion here it is:.

  assumptions and logic chainthe population of humans is growingthe population of humans has gorwn over timewe could study history and create a growth curve over time to extrapolate a consistent growth ratefrom that we could take the current human population of the planet and work backwards to the start of mankind.

  as one sees the facts of science and learns that evolution is a fact one then begins to look at the collateral effects and circumstances of the human situation and as one of the sojourners who has come down this path i find myself looking at things in a new context.

  first the basis of my position is that evolution is true and that the darwinist viewpoint holds true that it is all about survival.

  with everything being about survival how do i view the world?

  as one who has been reading posts this evening i find it odd that many of the xjw's here are wondering why every jw who sees a program like panorama doesn't immediately quit the cult (yes i said cult).

  well its a rather obvious explanation, in my opinion.

  simply put "you cannot argue against faith with facts".

  my philosophy as someone seeking to improve my understanding of why things are as they are, why things work, how i can improve things for myself all comes down to a simple method: always ask the next question.

  asking the next question allows us to build logic chains.

  the benefit in doing so allows us to construct mini-systems for ourselves as we grow.

  as anyone who has read my posts knows i am an atheist - a non-believer in any god or in any devil.

  i found the following interview to be quite interesting.it is from the february 23, 1986 washington post magazine.
