My goodness, this is absolutely sickening. To be honest, I usually see the witnesses' stance on child abuse as sometimes misguided but all in all, I have in the past felt they really do see child abuse as abhorrent and would usually do the best they can to stop it happening. But just reading this article has hit home some truths for me.
"It was extremely difficult for him," I believe he continued momentarily," "I just assured you it was one time,"
Every comment made by both elders STINKS of protecting the offender. A PAEDOPHILE comes to them ONLY LAST YEAR and admits molesting two young girls THAT THEY KNOW PERSONALLY, and they say they DON'T HAVE A GOOD RECOLLECTION!! If these men have any sort of character, every detail of that confession should have haunted them for the rest of their lives!
This is to me a perfect example of the true extent of misguided loyalty the brothers have. To cover-up for a sick pervert has to go against everything in their hearts, and yet, in the interests of "protecting God's name" they have essentially placed themselves on the same side as a criminal of the worst kind. Disgusting.
Wow, this gave me a shake-up.

It did actually! :-) I've hardly told anyone that story, not least because my dad would have my guts for garters if he found out. LOL

It was the summer holiday I turned 15, my parents were away, and I was staying with my cousin Todd. His "worldly" best friend Jamie came over and the three of us spent the day swimming at the beach. Jamie had been teasing me about a boy at school who had a crush on me. I kept begging for details but he would only drop little hints now and then. By the end of the day I was still clueless.
So we went back for dinner and watched some music videos. Exhausted, I showered and put on my PJ's. I went to my room and had just laid down in bed when I heard footsteps outside the door. I switched on the lamp as the door opened. It was Jamie. "Hotchocolate," he said, "that guy that has a crush on you? It's me."
He bent down and kissed me while I was still in shock. :-) -

Kangaroo steak is absolutely delicious if it's cooked right and great served with a red wine jus YUMMO! It's like beef but leaner.
Emu isn't as nice, you might expect it to be white meat but actually it's like beef as well. I prefer emu made into a good meat pie. :-) -
