I agree with cognizant and others, I think stay out of it.
If you want to apply the "do unto others" rule, you need to also apply it to the two having the affair. You don't know the full story, or what has led them to the affair. Maybe their partners also cheated at some point.
It is actually possible that a person may NOT wish to know that their spouse is cheating. Perhaps they already suspect but prefer to put their head in the sand. It is highly likely that they ARE suspicious, and if they really wanted to know there are ways to find out.
I don't think any outside party has the right to interfere with a relationship, no matter what they know.

Not long after I started posting I received a PM that totally freaked me out.
It started out saying basically "I know who you are.." I thought it was some nutcase until I kept reading and realised this person actually DID know who I was. Eeeek! Luckily it was a fellow dub who is in a similar situation to me, so it was all good.
It just goes to show the extent of the JWD membership is probably far more than we realise. :-) -

An elder here has molested and messed up the lives of many young girls during his eldership.
And of course we mustn't forget the local regular pioneer MS who was also the town flasher. -

How do the elders know if you are truly repentent?
by jetery inthe reason why i ask is because whenever u are df and u are trying to get reinstated they are always tellling u that u have to produce fruits befitting repentenace like attending the meetings, etc.
they always make it seem that since they are gods spirit-directed org.
that he will know whether or not if a person is repentent.

Has Anyone Else Heard about the Second Letter Re KH Funds?
by jamiebowers indo you remember when someone posted that the society recently sent a letter to all of the kh's asking that they deposit their funds in the society's bank, so the society could earn interest on each congregation's principal?
i heard from a confidential source that a second letter was sent to the congregations who haven't yet done so, telling them that they are selfish and unwilling to help christ's brothers.
if this is correct, does anyone have a scan of the letter they could share on jwd?

Jehovah's Witness wives do not need consciences.
by hotchocolate inmy feelings on this subject have continued consistent throughout my time from being a zealous, believing witness to now.
so there's all these areas of "conscience" as a dub, which movies you can watch, what you can wear etc etc.
but.. here's the catch.

We have an elder who treats his wife like one of his children. He doesn't agree with women getting together for coffee, so he curbs her doing things except as a family. And I've always experienced men, particularly elders, who think that their husbandly headship should be exercised over anyone without a willy.
The WT uses the term "equal" when describing men and women, but then undermines that in everything else that is written. There was an Awake in the 60's about the size of a woman's brain being smaller than a mans. That article was embarrassingly sexist, but I think that was just one time of many that revealed the true attitude of the GB of women.
Hey, does anyone have a scan of that?

ha!! ahhh "Your weakness is my strength, carry on!" That is classic Flipster.
All you naughty, spiritually weak people. No wonder you're all postates - it was the oral that did it - the tool of Satan himself.
