  Was it the same author who once wrote "is it suitable for JWs to own cats ?"

  No. When I was in the process of leaving JW's, I found this cat article. I think it inspired me to later create the Erbrechet! magazine.

  Do you guys know the German poster who goes just by the symbol + ?

  Yes, I actually met him at an apostate meeting. His homepage is www.myspace.com/jesussirach, though he is not really 101 years old =)

  He does also a great job in uncovering new JW devopments, like no more printing the country-wide field service report in km.

  after the witchtower, i also translated some articles from "unser kurbisreichsdienst" (meaning "our pumpkin-empire ministry", sounding similar to "our kingdom ministry" in german).. here is the first issue of "our boredom ministry":.

  Could the "Memorial" night and number of partakers be all fake?

  faithful and discreet slave, a distinct class of people comprising the remaining ones of the 'anointed[1]' 144,000[2], or "the remnant"[3] that is "appointed over" others to "give them their food at the proper time", based on their interpretation of matthew 24:45 ("a faithful and wise servant" kjv).. .

  each year at the annual "memorial" only the anointed class of members partake of the emblems.

  everyone else is an observer.. did you ever think that the memorial is only a display to keep their authority over the rank and file ?

  This graph shows the actual number of memorial partakers (blue) and an "expected" value that I calculated based on actual mortality statistics - from Germany, though. If we assume that Germany's life expectance is above average, the green line should be even lower.

  It is noticeable that the number dropped steeply until ~ 1970, but since then it remained nearly constant.

  Is there any way to get a copy of the Witchtower?

  You mean a printed copy? Unfortunately, no, I do not print them. But you can make one by yourself.

  You can use the "2 pages per sheet" option in Adobe Reader. First print pages 16,1,14,3,12,5,10,7. Then put the paper back into the printer (upside down) and print pages 8,9,6,11,4,13,2,15.
