Do you mean "bask"?
Oooohhhhhh bad error!
Sure I meant "bask" ... will update it immediately!
wise king solomon wrote: "rejoice, young man [or woman], in your youth, and let your heart do you good in the days of your young manhood, and walk in the ways of your heart and in the things seen by your eyes.
" (ecclesiastes 11:9) when you are young, life can be so interesting and exciting, except if you are a jehovahs witness.
in that case, a vast number of restraints and rules steal the best time of your life.. sadly, the new book questions young people ask answers that work (volume 2) which was released at the district convention 2008 contains a rather biased view on biblical characters.

Sadly, the new book Questions Young People Ask – Answers That Work (Volume 2) which was released at the District Convention 2008 contains a rather biased view on Biblical characters. It does only mention those details that are in harmony with Watchtower ideology; everything else is omitted.

I noticed only today that my article about the Gregorian calendar is to some extent copied from the March 13, 1935 Golden Age.
The Gregorian Calendar
But though Jehovah's people ignore all of the foregoing, they cannot quite, in the immediate present, ignore the Gregorian or papal calendar inaugurated in October, 1582, at which time ten days were dropped from the Julian calendar, the fifteenth of that month hooking up next to the fourth. It was not until 1752 that England adopted the Gregorian calendar.
In this series of articles will be shown that all the foregoing calendars are calendars of the Devil. If that is shown to be true regarding the Gregorian, it will certainly be true of all the others. Please, now, take the time to examine some of the necessary details of this intricate subject.
Jehovah God is nowhere mentioned in the Gregorian calcedar. It would suit Satan well to have Him lost sight of altogether. Christ is mentioned, but the year 1935 is not the year of our Lord at all, for he was born in 2 B.C. and died in A.D. 33. In these articles the Gregorian calendar is supplanted and discarded by the unique expedient of extending it into the past, as if it had always been in operation, using it to establish historical points in terms that will be understood by those now living, and then letting it die an ignomininous death.

They preferred to have millions of people everlastingly writing down a name in honor of Janus
...
The Devil, of course, was the one who induced the ancestors of the present generation to name all the days of the week after heathen gods and goddesses. ... Sunday is named after the sun god; Monday after the moon god ... Saturday, after Saturn.

the ten plagues today: how does jehovah use his witnesses to bring ten antitypical plagues upon mankind?.
meeting - in ancient times and today: should you attend the jw meetings?.
He is going to be made escargot if He doesn't start actually doing it
Jesus clearly said that "the end" will come when no one does expect it. Since there has always been someone who expected it for more than 2000 years, it cannot come yet.

according to german april issue of our kingdom ministry, the watchtower logo must be removed from all kingdom halls:.
it sais that the watchtower logo - a stylised watchtower or a watchtower with a bible - is used by the watchtower society.
thus, it should not be used by congregations or private persons, neither on kingdom halls, stationary or anything else.
Someone in Germany who met Johannes Wrobel a few times called him an unusually sincere and honest man who sooner or later had to notice that something is wrong ...

hat German WT leader that just resigned
Whom do you mean? Johannes Wrobel? He was the head of the WT historic archive, but not really a "WT leader".
Also, he published that he "ended his work contract with the Watchtower Society". We do not know if he is still a JW or not.

Any news on this? Does anyone have the April issue of the US Kingdom Ministry by now?

what are your plans for the summer?
Whatever God's organization asks of her she strives to do.
But the Bible clearly says "that in the last days there will come ridiculers with their ridicule". (1. Pet. 3:3) It is my obligation to fulfill this prophecy.

why did they use the 'the witchtower' as the title
The idea behind that title was the following: According to WT teaching, witches are associated with the devil, thus something detestable to God (and to Jehovah's Witnesses). But actually their own teachings are at least as demonic and occult as the pagan ones. So, instead of a tower that watches, they are a tower of demons.
Does anyone have a problem with that explanation? Should I rename the magazine to "The Washtowel"?
