i didn't ask why they don't because their own literature makes them out as horrible frauds!

my question is how do you get a hold of stuff like the "finished mystery" "the divine plan of the ages" and other pertinent false doctrine that has been swept under the rug and locked in the coffers at wt headquarters?

i feel so helpless because if i show my wife info on the net she will just write it off as apostate and altered like we have all been trained to think.

hey guys.. for those of you in europe, australia and even usa if you know it, who likes the eurovision song contest?

its great!!!

40 or so singers from all different countries all come together for a massive show where they all sing their song for 3 mins and then move on for the next singer.

I like it, but I consider it more a comedy event than a serious musical contest. And we have really good musicians in Germany, but we always spare no effort to find an untalented, incapable Nobody and create an extraordinarily boring song for him.

The end can't come when anybody is expecting it. So as long as anybody is expecting it, it cannot come.

Billy: Expected by whom? To whom does 'you' refer? The world or true Christians?

Jesus clearly told his disciples (according to the Bible) that it would come when THEY do not expect it.

So, if Jesus was right, and Jehovah's Witnesses are true Christians, it will not come as long as they are expecting it. On the other hand, Jesus told his disciples to be on the watch - so to speak, to be always expecting the end.

- True Christians must always be expecting the end

- The end will come when true Christians are not expecting it (means, the end will not come when true Christians are expecting it)

--> The end will never come ... so the prophecy is fulfilled.

How do you Spell Disfellowshipped?

the reason i ask, is that if you search the wt publications, you will see that it is spelled with only one "p" over 600 times, but also spelled with two "p"s 600 times.. .

very confusing!

any linguistic experts out there that know which it should be?.

I posted the same in the German forum this morning ;)

I have come to know that JWN is proclaiming erroneous teachings and under the cloak of 'cult information' follows hostile purposes against God's Kingdom.

I therefore left this organization entirely and made myself absolutely free from the teachings of this group.

I herewith give assurance that I will never again take any part in the activity of the Jehovah's Witness network. Any Jehovah's Witnesses registered there, I will denounce immediately. All PMs that should be sent to my address I will at once delete.

I will in the future esteem the laws of the Faithful and Discreet Slave, especially in field service will I, with Bible in hand, defend my faith.

joseph rutherford, the second president of the wts, believed his spiritual enlightenment came from angels because the holy spirit had ceased functioning since 1918. the angels channeled information into his mind from god residing on the star alcyone.
