Exodus 15:3: "Jehovah is a manly person of war"
1 Samuel 2:6: "Jehovah is a Killer"
Why should he not have invented swords?
we need not conclude that our loving creator was the first one to make what we know as swords.
adam and eve saw turning in front of the angels something that was blazing.
by the time moses wrote the book of genesis, swords were well-known and used in warfare.

i found this quote from the 12/15/12 p.29 study edition of the watchtower to be hilarious:.
"a college graduate in the united states.
says: i spent 18 years speaking and writing.
The German edition uses a different wording and calls it "an abstract, academic way of speaking".
as has already been mentioned, the december 15th watchtower (study edition) is now online and available for download on this link.. i couldn't help but smile at the concluding comments of the final study article on page 28 where it had this to say:.
"the very concept of foreigner has already lost much of its meaning among jehovahs witnesses, who pay little attention to the nationality of those in their midst.
recently, for example, several of their smaller branch offices were merged to simplify the work of oversight and to improve efficiency in accomplishing the preaching of the good news of the kingdom.
Recently, for example, all branch offices of Jehovah's Witnesses were closed to simplify the work of exterminating all false religion and to improve efficienty in accomplishing the destruction of all Watchtower publications.
i've always questioned the appropriateness of the title "faithful and discreet slave" that the governing body so proudly assigns itself.
but i've spent most of my time demonstrating how they've been neither faithful nor discreet.
recently it dawned on my that i'm even more angry at the fact that they call themselves a "slave"!
BTW, "a slave does not know what his master does" (John 15:15), which surely does apply to the "faithful and discreet slave."
a while back, whatistruth posted the question: how many bible events can we site that no human has ever witnessed.
i was surprised that no one cited isaiah 43:10: .
you are my witnesses, is the utterance of jehovah, even my servant whom i have chosen, in order that you may know and have faith in me, and that you may understand that i am the same one.
No one came up with "Jehovah's Witlesses"?
What are you referring to? Do you have a secret Adult Edition of the magazine? ;)
Almost correct ...
the possibilities truly are endless with photoshop!!.
.
cedars.
i kid you not.
the latest watchtower study edition has the following question under consideration in the "questions from readers" article on page 20:.
do jesus words found at matthew 19:10-12 suggest that those who choose to remain single have received the gift of singleness in a mysterious way?.
They have been writing their own questions for decades.
Whilst I suspect that is true, is there any proof that's actually the case?
Yes. They're admitting it:
km 8/08 p4: "Each month, the feature 'Our Readers Ask' considers a question that non-Witnesses are likely to raise."
some more older articles have been republished:.
applying bible principles in the preaching work.
the psalms wonderful songs to praise god.
