who are you...
eeyore?.. haha..nice one. Nope, wouldn't vote for him either.
first of all i do not want to turn this into an american bashing thread, that is not my intention at all.. i would like to hear americans opinions as to what my thirteen year old son asked me tonight.. on the way back from swimming tonight my two sons (13 and 11) and myself started talking about wars.
my 11 year old was the first to bring it up talking about wwi & ww2.
we had an interesting conversation about it, then the subject got onto nuclear bombs.

I consider my non vote to be a vote. Which clown do you want me to vote for anyway. All three candidates left running are known members of the Council on Foreign Relations, which says a lot.
Sir, which one would you prefer? The red, four door sedan or the red, four door sedan?
Gee, I don't know, it's a tough choice. Don't you have any other colors?
They don't come in other colors, this is all we've got.
Ok, so I'll take the red, four door sedan.
Which one? It really matters which one you choose...

"Why does America always bomb other countries?"
You've got to test the darn things you know, find out how much pain they inflict, and then modify them to inflict even more pain and destruction. It's their business. Your country has probably bought some military products from the US. Naturally, it's all done in the name of peace and freedom, of course.
It's no fun to play alone either, so if you don't have enemies, well you create some. It's like playing cowboys and indians, you never play alone and the indians never win, and if cowboy (US) is hurt, OMG, now you're in for it. The US is like this big bully, that when he scatches his knee playing you realize he's the biggest cry baby of all.
i dont see my son very often.
he is 18 and graduating at the end of may.
entrenched as a jw but still he wants me to attend his graduation even though im "apostate"...(he loves me...) but what do i get him ...just money?
Ive made up my mind and im going with the rifle
Since you're going through customs, might want to check with them first.
for the past few months i have found myself biting my tongue at what i have been observing with some participants on jwd.
please keep in mind i have been around since noah on these boards (circa 1997) and have watched several trends and people come and go over the years.. i am not seeking approval, support or anything other than expressing a personal observation.. every once in a while an egoist appears on the ex-jw boards.
more often than not a former elder who feels they continue to hold some sort of special wisdom that they must proclaim to the masses.
JCanon will never lead me astray
Maybe not but you might end up crossdressing as Pat Benatar

all was well and i was feeling good and having a good time... then i came home and found this grey honda parked in my driveway blocking me from parking in my garage (the one i pay $70 a month for).
ok, if asshole wants to block me, i'll block asshole.
Oh, man, I can't believe the people who are freaking out on this thread! You would have thought that Elsewhere popped this guy's tires or keyed his vehicle! ALL HE DID WAS PARK AT THE END OF HIS OWN DRIVEWAY! GET OVER IT, PEOPLE!
Who's freaking out? You're the one yelling....
in january i posted about what is going on to cost of things in america.
now, gasoline is almost 4.00/gal and food items continue to soar?

We are getting screwed
At this point it's more like we're screwed...it's a global problem, not just the US.

Obviously the guy couldn't tell if there was a car inside the garage or not so he shouldn't have parked there in the first place. What if elsewhere had an emergency and couldn't get out.
I agree that when you do stuff like that you'd better be prepared to rumble. You never know who's on the other end.
I remember once being in a bar and this drunk (and high) guy was getting on my case. I really thought I could take him, but this friend of mine (older biker, blind in one eye, who I'm sure had seen his share of fights) just kept telling me to forget about it, but still I really felt like I should defend myself. Finally the guy picked a fight with someone else. Wow, there were 3 cops, a few customers trying to pin this character down, blood all over the place and he kept on going. I then realized that if I had locked horns with him I would've been history.
My motto now, steer away from trouble and don't go looking for it.
