  I took the trouble to read this over a couple of lunch breaks... boy! What a bunch of imbeciles. (I need part II)

  Anyway, it got me thinking. Aside from the legal requirement in the US to notify if a recording is being made - why not record these hearings?

  If you went to any court in a 'civilised' society you would find stenographers at the very least. You can keep notes at a JC so what if you were able to take it all down in Shorthand?

  The records in wordly courts are made as a protection to the individual and to maintain some form of justice and is at least seen to be done. The mere fact records are not made at a JC speaks volumes against justice and human rights. I'm amazed they can get away with as much as they do!

  It's very true.... the WT takes advantage of every aspect of the 'world's' systems and procedures but never offers the same to it's rank and file - hypocisy at it's very best (worst?).

  My doubting friend came by and left the letter...

  i hope that i am not eating up alot of bandwidth and annoying anyone.

  however as i make my exit i want to reveal as many things as possible.

  i have a friend who had doubts about the latest change and wrote a letter.

  since the information was not revealed directly to Brother Russell but he obtained the information from others

  .

  Well, that certainly hides the fact that he calculated it by measuring tunnels in a pyramid, then the date was wrong followed with a clarification - the date was wrong because the measurement was inaccurate!

  David Splane does not bow head when giving a prayer!

  this is a report in spanish conerning david splane giving a prayer at a convention.. perhaps someone can translate it better, but google translate gave the following:.

  during prayer, should no longer be necessary to bow his head in a mass meeting, as was splane throughout the prayer, head up, down, left and right looking at all tiers, not hiding in the least.. so splane is looking all around at the sudience while giving a prayer?!!!.

  can someone confirm that is what the spanish text says?.

  from memory (help pls) when jehovahs witness elders report child abuse judicial comittee outcomes to the watchtower they have remit to comment on whether the child victim played some part in the offence.. this despicable question seeks to make the victim a mitigating factor in the sin crime.

  well as of today the uk judicial system has laid down a marker that this 'defence' is inappropriate and will not fly.. what the defence said:.

  i was approached by an elder about a year ago asking what i am going to do with my large collection of wt literature.

  he told me the society had put word out that they were collecting old literature.

  i asked him why but he couldn't give me a definite answer.

  as they hadn’t knocked on my door for at least five years, and consequently feeling somewhat neglected, i thought that i would pay them a visit instead.. .

  the first thing i needed to do was arrange my literature.

  There is a permanent JW 'outlet' right opposite my office in Peterborough where JW's present 4 days a week (Mondays most be too traumatic for them). Ever since the recent Newcastle scandal I have been sorely tempeted to walk over with a printout of the newspaper articles and ask their opinion, simply because they can't hide or run away!

  Well done Snappy for taking it to them... most heartwarming when irrefutable logic is used against them! Top of the Class
