  Fed up with the way JWs treat those who can no longer believe

  my favourite uncle died about two years ago (non-witness) and my mother couldn't tell me .

  earlier today i went round to the cathedral square of the city where i work for some lunch and i had the misfortune to sit near to an ol'boy witnessing to some people who were too polite to respond.

  he kept going on about truth.

  1972 Olympics

  in 1972 my mother said to me, "make the most of this young hotspur - this will be the last olypmics ever!

  " -- and with the slaughter of the israeli athletes i thought she could be right.. so, where does that leave us 40 years later?

  well, dear mother was wrong and so was mother!.

  What is the "tipping point"?

  given that 1914 and 1975 are disappearing (rapidly?

  ) into the misty veils of history one thought struck me recently?.

  based on the nt statement that "unless the days are cut short, no flesh will be saved" how come we are this far down the path of time with nothing happening?

  i can't believe johnny the bethelite has not been uncovered.

  unless, of course, he doesn't exist!

  hoping not to give koolaidman any more exposure here but.... .

  Going back to a Kingdom Hall

  part of my 'rebirth' after my leaving jws was to rediscover and undo the 38 missing years of my love of music.. before i was baptised i was playing a trumpet in bands and orchestras... then came the empty years (we all know the stories).. long story short, i relearned my instrument through a music school.

  from there i joined a brass band, but recently we moved house and it was some way from the band i played in.

  so, i searched for a new band and found one more local to me... they even have their own band room.

  Man jailed for posting religious abuse on Internet

  recent news item in the uk.

  this guy received a 8 month jail sentence which case was prosecuted under "hate crime" laws.

  this is a very similar situation to the recent case that cedars, amelia, cantleave and others have pursued in hampshire with the police.

  how many times did you hear that?

  it wasn't until i read with disbelief no room for george's pitiful statement about being proud to be a jw did i start to think of a simple of way of discrediting the jws... it needed a simple scriptural phrase that causes them to shoot their own foot!.

  so - how many different ways can you think of where jws have "gone beyond the things written"?.

  not even any good in "compatability mode.

  " surely, the browser should be compliant with web code standards, not the other way around?

  Conscience or Mind Control?

  this was plainly wierd.

  i'm telling this story to warn others of the power of mind control.. not long after my marriage failed i met a darling photographer who has since become my wife.

  i walked away from the borg, never to look back.
