Sea Monkeys

i am not sure about the uk and other english speaking nations around the globe, but i can tell you this: sea monkeys were all the rage for a brief period of time in the united states and canada.. why?.

check out this ridiculous advertisement from the back of one our comic books that anyone of us would view in the late 1960s and early 1970s.. sea monkeys.. do you remember them?

do you remember the advertisements in marvel and dc comics?.

I always wanted the sea monkeys, they looked so fun with their little crown-like heads! :) Never did get 'em though. I did have a pet rock and a "squirm" (fuzzy bit of pipe cleaner on a string, basically)- does that count?! -Potential

i have this talk tonight.... well, of course nations wouldn't be able to frustrate his plans... what the heck can i say in this talk???

i don't like to give jw speeches, but can't think of anything else to say on this one.... i got to think of some sort of good illustration on this one or something... any ideas???

If you feel this ill about it you should sit it out. It's wonderful and truly shows your Christian love that you want to help others out of the truth, but not to the detriment of your own health. What a pay day for little missy! Poor sir Paul, I think he jumped in with her too fast after his beloved Linda passed on. Heather looks a bit like her, but obviously two very different ladies. BTW, who has that kind of money and doesn't get a pre-nup?!! I love Paul, but that was sheer stupidity. :( It's all just sad, really.

Sex and JWs I want to know what you think "he played the God Card"

i was a jw but left about 8 years ago, my husband wanted to go back so we have tried, i did not do so good.

being gone so long just helped me realize this is totally false, i look at the jws as lambs being lead to their deaths.. fast forward to now, we are both in our 40s and i have had medical side effects from using birth control and other meds as birth control.

my body can not take anymore, i have suffered breast cyst and uterus cyst, so i asked my husband who has an issue with using condoms because he does not reach a climax, and has to masturbate, to use something that would offer us a permanent result such as him getting a vasectomy.. his reaction is like why i feel even more strongly that jws are wrong.

Second, am I misunderstanding, or are you saying you are currently pregnant, or that you were recently??? What Mene said- get the tubes tied. I did a few years back when my hubby was like "no one's touching my stuff!" He was surprised when I told him shortly thereafter that I was getting the procedure, but I was tired of the Russian roulette! It was easy, outpatient only took a few hours start to leaving.

It seems like you need to decide if you really want to be with this man- for the kids is not good enough. It isn't fair to you, or them. (looking back now, I see you say you're leaving). It seems like there are some deeply rooted problems there- I mean, I can understand not having "intercourse", but are you saying you've had no sexual relations at all for the last 3 years? There's other stuff you could have been doing outside of intercourse...if he prefers masturbation to you giving him a hand job or some other form of intimacy, that sends up a red flag.

Let us know if and when you leave...

I reject the idea that man has nothing to do with global warming. They have taken samples of the polar ice caps that PROVE that carbon emissions DO have everything to do with this. Thru the samples they can date the changes and when they occurred. Also, just because places had some cold this winter doesn't mean that isn't also part of the global warming phenomenon. The warming causes weather to go wacky: tidal waves, hurricanes, record drought and floods, record heat and cold. BTW, that reference to coldest temps on record in Texas- bullsh*t! If there have been, there have been any such days I challenge anyone to compare that with the number of days we've recorded record heat- I guarantee the heat is much more prevalent. I agree with Blues- it sucks that this has become a political argument, it shouldn't be.

my sister, that is also df'd, just called me.

she has ms and it is starting to flare.

she keeps falling down because she doesn't have strength in her legs and her speech is starting to slur.

This is the worst kind of scum. I feel for you, your sis and the kids especially. You are an angel for taking them in. The guy would have to be an atheist- you couldn't possibly believe in God and say that/do kind of thing! Mrs. J your hubby got it right!! If any of these b*stards that keep saying global warming is a myth were to visit South Texas in the middle of summer I think they would shut the h*ll up! Hello! Iceland will be non-existent in about 30 years!!!! Yes, Texas has always been hot in the summer, but it's worse now. And our winters can hardly be called that. Used to be it would snow in these parts every once in a blue moon...it's been about 25 years since that's happened.

I cannot wrap my mind around this teaching. It makes no sense whatsoever. There are passages in teh Bible that state (wish I could remember where- John?) that Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father. That is a present tense statement. So how does that mesh with the WT doctrine? He's sitting there doing nothing until 1914??? In another verse it says that Jesus has dominion over all things...
