Believer's how long will you allow this blasphemy?

as all of you know, i do not believe the bible's divine... but if i did, i find that much of what the society says is outright blasphemy.

notice this insert from the april 15th, wt... you can look it up for yourselves as i'm certain i'm not taking this out of context.

if you believe the bible is the word of god (i find it hard to believe that anyone can take it literal) but if you do, then what about the souls of your family still in?

My Wife Is Getting A Sheparding Call

i've disassociated myself since february.

i made no secret of my disapproval of the wtbts and was very vocal to my doubts of it being god's true organization on earth to the po.

now, the po and another elder has scheduled to talk with my wife tonight for a sheparding call at the home of the book study.

Why do many of us keep refering to IT as "THE TRUTH"?

because that was the name the borg placed on it's religion, "the truth" it seems to be stuck with many of us.

i am making a concious effort to not refer to it as "the truth".. it is not the truth, it is not the way, and it is definitley not the life!.

so let's stop it people!.

o. k. how do i start ?

i will preface the start of this first by saying this happened many years ago - in 1985 when i had just become a new father myself to my dear son flipper junior, i'll call him.

when i explain this to you, some of this may appear comical, in fact, now that i overcame it years ago, i can laugh at it, but when you see the totality of the story- when it happened then to me- it was no laughing matter.

mccain dismisses equal pay legislation, says women need more training and education.today, sen. john mccain (r-az) skipped the vote on the ledbetter fair pay act, which restores the longstanding interpretation of title vii of the civil rights act, overturned last year by a 5-4 supreme court ruling.

in new orleans today, mccain explained his opposition to the bill by claiming it opens us up to lawsuits for all kinds of problems.

later in new orleans, he added that instead of legislation allowing women to fight for equal pay, they simply need education and training:.
