  if there have been any newbies that got lost in this attack of the killer witnesses and have been ignored, i apologize.. now, to all those jehovah's witnesses or whoever you are....who want to make us look like we are immoral.....shame on you.. at least get some more believable stories.

  so early this morning i had been working all night .

  just got done eating mickeyd's in my truck , getting ready to take a nap before driving , and this jw young lady in her early 20's knocks on my closed window !

  i put the window down and while forcibly handing the watchtower to me just says, " here is the watchtower !

  Good for you! Even if she dismisses it later, at least you planted a seed there. Funny, my friend told me a witness approached him in much the same way, with a memorial invite. He said he asked her a couple of questions about the org and she didn't know what to say! Goes to show that half the folks "in" don't even know what it's all about! :(

  i'm sure that the topic of armageddon has risen it's ugly head before but can anyone out there tell me when the armaggedon will happen (try to be precise please otherwise to me as a non-believer it will look like you're guessing) and has anyone got any concrete evidence of why and how it will happen?

  oh and can you give evidence about when it will happen?

  If you know your Bible then you probably know that Jesus said no one, not even He himself knows the hour and the day, only the Father. If you're interested in wacko calculations that predict the day and the hour, I suggest you look for posts by OBVES and JCannon. They both think they have it all figured out. Ha!   Sex and JWs I want to know what you think "he played the God Card"

  i was a jw but left about 8 years ago, my husband wanted to go back so we have tried, i did not do so good.

  being gone so long just helped me realize this is totally false, i look at the jws as lambs being lead to their deaths.. fast forward to now, we are both in our 40s and i have had medical side effects from using birth control and other meds as birth control.

  my body can not take anymore, i have suffered breast cyst and uterus cyst, so i asked my husband who has an issue with using condoms because he does not reach a climax, and has to masturbate, to use something that would offer us a permanent result such as him getting a vasectomy.. his reaction is like why i feel even more strongly that jws are wrong.

  Just wanted to quickly address what Hope said, about possibility of tubes coming "untied" later. I dunno what goes on in Canada, but i think here in the states it's always done the way my procedure was- the tubes aren't actually tied, they are "burned" with a laser. No chance of knots coming undone! This is a safe procedure (if any medical procedures can be termed as such), with minimum down time and not too painful. Yes, it's selfish that he won't do the less invasive procedure on himself, but you can see from the other posts many men don't want anyone messing with their junk. He's just making up some bizzaro reasons why not to do it. -Potential

  we hung a large american flag on our house.

  i must say it looks real nice esp when it waves.

  i hope they do my street soon in the door to door work and ole glory waves at them proudly.

I display my flag when the wind isn't 90 MPH, like today! Got one on my car, too. 'Course, I never was a dub, so I have always had patriotic tendencies.   i am not sure about the uk and other english speaking nations around the globe, but i can tell you this: sea monkeys were all the rage for a brief period of time in the united states and canada.. why?.

  check out this ridiculous advertisement from the back of one our comic books that anyone of us would view in the late 1960s and early 1970s.. sea monkeys.. do you remember them?

  ok heres the scenario.. mom is still a jw.

  her best friend and also neighbour (jw-elders wife) has a daughter who is "courting" (unofficially) someone who has just come back into the "truth", he has gone through his usual judicial process and repented from his wicked ways and has been publicly reproved.. now what puzzles me about this?.

  he is on restrictions as he is not classed as being in "good standing" within the congregation.

  i recently have been able to eat dairy products after having my gall bladder removed.

  I love Ben and Jerry's- there's some kind of a crazy swirl that mixes chunky monkey and New York fudge or something like that... Lately I've been into fresh frozen custard- much creamier and richer than regular old ice cream! I'm normally a chocolate gal, but the vanilla frozen custard is delish.
