i just got home from my sociology class about culture and one of the things we were asked to do is list some things that were unique to our culture/country.
so i ask you, my friends from various countries around the globe....what is a symbol that is unique to your country or culture?????.
dottie .
Holland, hmm what comes to mind...
Legal pot / marihuana
Legal prostitution
XTC

Not much to be proud of I'm afraid, save Heineken and secularism...

now call me stupid (but not to my face), but i did not realize that if one types in, say, "patio34" on a search engine, my threads come up.
i bring this up because i did start a thread about a person and that person could, if they suspected it, find it on the huge web!!
they could realize this because my e-mail name is the same as my name here.
a quick search on Greven reveals the following:
Commander Greven Il-vec >> An anti spank site and some other stuff, nothing revealing fortunately. Greven. |
strange quistions really, so I didn't expect much.
the result was pretty good though! Heineken on top. where is Grolsch though?
1 | Heineken |

It's Knorr, we don't see him but that's because he is invisibly present!!
A scary beast indeed, though invisible.

hey guys,.
i'm sure this one has been done before, but what was your first "sin" after leaving jw.. i'm not necessarily talking about sleeping with a transvestite - or maybe that was it, :-).
the other day i was a movie theater and if i wanted to - i could have seen a rated r movie - (like the old george bush on saturday night live - scary!
Independant thinking and making my choices in life without consulting a list of silly mags.

i am thinking of getting a pistol and i am not sure of what kind to get.
i went to an indoor range today and tried out a glock .45 (the smaller model) and a heavier .45. i found the glock rested well in my hand but i could shoot much more accurately with the heavier (and longer barreled) pistol.
any way, i am looking for a home protection / target practice pistol and would like any input on what caliber to get.
I would suggest 9mm 'woodcutter' rounds. Woodcutters are for target practice and easy to aquire and not to mention cheap. And they have formidable stopping power. Besides that, a Glock 17 has a clip of 17 9mm rounds so missing doesn't matter much. I would, for home protection not use any of the lager calibers .40/45/357/44 as they are harder to control due to large recoil. They are more imppressive however. Try out a few.
Abaddon, do you know anything about the regulation in Holland? It is much harder to get hold of a piece than in America, I assume.

her ladyship has just presented me with a wonderful sunday lunch.
half a lobster as a starter, with salad garnish and vinaigrette.
the main course comprised a sirloin steak, bubble and squeak, topped off with a fried ducks egg.
Thanx for the link. LOL.

well, do you?
it just seems incredible to me with the amount of traffic that's on this board - just curious how many if anybody does that.
The title does it. So, no I do not read all threads.
Do you read the entire newspaper?
