just few more comments about the june 1st article.
above all else , please focus on paragraph 11:
these will hate the harlot [false religion] and will make her devastated and naked,
francois I wondered about this too:
As a spirit creature, he cannot carry out his attack directly, but will use human agencies to do his deeds.
I recall from the bible one angel (a spirit creature) killing 185.000 men. But is God not a spirtit creature also? He killed -according to the bible- the entire human race save 8 people. Didn't demons -according to the bible- possess humans? Is that not a direct attack? So why can't satan attack directly? Sure it is not because he is a spirit creature...Since when do they need human agencies? Satan Inc.? C'mon!
Mac, Great research (as usual)!

God does not play dice with the universe: He plays an ineffable game of His own devising, which might be compared, from the perspective of any of the other players [i.e. everybody], to being involved in an obscure and complex variant of poker in a pitch-dark room, with blank cards, for infinite stakes, with a Dealer who won't tell you the rules, and who smiles all the time.
The more I study religions the more I am convinced that man never worshipped anything but himself.
One man's theology is another man's belly laugh. Robert A. Heinlein
Theology is never any help; it is searching in a dark cellar at midnight for a black cat that isn't there. Theologians can persuade themselves of anything.
Robert A. HeinleinQuestion with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason, than that of blind-folded fear.

i nearly fell off my seat.
this 30ish jw elder came strolling in the movie theater with his wife and a huge tub of pop corn in his arm to watch x-men 2: xmen united.
i couldn't believe the hypocrasy.........they teach not to even watch much tv, much less go to a movie.
I am not sure how things are in the states, but here in the Netherlands movies are not mentioned by name. I know plenty of JW's elders included going to Potter and Lord of the Rings. So what? I also know some that think they are bad.

there's a number of bible principles mentioned but ultimately, they say it's up to you.......... can you think of any other questions that we could ask to see if we can do something or not??
?
eating certain foods has caused you to become sexually stimulated

QFR:
My dog Bruno has had for years a stable relation with my neighbours dog, Lucy. I caught him the other day however, commiting adultery with that stray slutty dog, Miranda. I used the hose but to no avail. I was already to late. Lucy is hartbroken. I hope she can find it in her heart to forgive Bruno. Bruno however, shows no signs of remorse, he even seems to be proud of his detestable act. I know Johovah hates seperation and adultery. Should I report this incident to the elders? Would I be quilty if i did not (lev 5:1)? Should I make him wear pants? Miranda was not wearing any clothes, can it be said she is quilty too as she provoked him?

any thoughts??

i have always loved perfumes and oils and i have quite a collection that i use as the mood strikes...but i am getting low on many of them and it is time to think about making that birthday gift list sooooooo... what do you wear and what do you like and why?.
my all-time innocent favorite is muguet des bois(lily of the valley)--reminds me of my youth and a cousin who gave it to me as a gift who is passed now.... but i also love the scent of lilac, usually in an oil.. my favorite perfumes are: obsession, rare rubies(avon), coty wild musk, revlon's fire and ice, white shoulders, sand and sable, ck's truth, (and also mesmerize, odyssey, foxfire, jasmine, raining violets, honeysuckle, lemon velvet, hawaiian white ginger--all old classic avon you can only find at flea markets or once a year in the book.).
but i need something new....i like the oriental/spicy blends, but not for all the time.
Call me cheap but I like Phoenix from Axe....

do you smoke?.
would you live with a smoker, if you are non smoker?
i wouldn't be able to smell cigarette smoke at home nor in my car.
Non-smoker
BUT I do like to have one of those slim cigars with a good class of whiskey by a roaring fire in the winter. other than that, I do not smoke. Could I live with some-one who smokes? Possibly, but I don't like it so...I dunno really...
