Flashbulbs
by RubaDub incan someone explain the paranoia that exists regarding flashbulbs at the assemblies ???.
i mean, it's not like we have never seen them before and they would draw our attention away from something.
if anything, when you see a lot of flashing lights, it draws attention to the person or event, not to the cameras.

I do agree with francois that we do ourselves no good by flaming. However I do not think it will put of possible interested people. We never claimed to be one united brothership. We never claimed to be unified. We never claimed to be God's organization. And we certainly do not claim to be his mouthpiece or prophet.
We are individuals with different hopes, ideas and ideals. Naturally these will clash now and then, resulting in conflict and flamewars. But it is nothing to get really excited about, aslong as we aknowledge our human fallibilty and respect the beliefs of others. This is something they lack.

Weeping and Gnashing of Dentures
by Fruitcake inhi, i have my first post under scandals and cover ups, so i thought anyways i would introduce myself here, and a wonderful embrace to you all.. my friend and i just escaped from the borg, i used to be a pioneer, and he was raised a witness, all his life.
but we got to see the watchtower for what it is, a loveless, selfish, whitewashed grave.. i am glad we are out and never going back, i was up all night, after considering getting reinstated, till we opened up the bible, just the bible and started reading.. god answered my prayers, my friend posted his feelings on anointed gathering, under elumn8.
please give him your support even if some you dont understand the anointed stuff.. we cant wait to get acquanted further with your site, and see how this all unfolds.

WHAT DID YOU MISS OUT ON WHEN IN THE BORG
by nightwarrior inwe as a family allways wanted a family pet as in (dog ) but as the ministry loomed every weekend ,as well as the meetings we decided that it would be to much trouble ,subconciously the influence came from other members in the congregation ,which in turn came from the elders in turn from the bethel ,allways sprouting on about the ministry first ,you never had time for anything elsemow ,yes a dog would be to much trouble,but now,for the past two /half years my younger children are enjoying the companionship of an animal in the house,as well as 2 cats which we have had for past eight years,.
did you find time for animals.. what did you miss out on ,allso for past 14 years we have had different caravans and motor homes ,.
what did you miss out on when in the borg ,and how did it affect you.

DID YOU FIND TIME FOR ANIMALS?.
Yes, that was never an issue. We had one dog and two cats first. Now we just have two cats. Because my parents were very disgrunted for not being allowed to persue higher education they made sure I and my sis were allowed to get as far as we could. Resulting in university for me.
What I did miss out on was: having normal friends over (somehow those JW friends were always weird folk, like intelectual zombies) and ofcourse: SEX. doh!

i think it is a sham......i think it is a money pit that holds it's members captive by manipulation and fear......if god does exist he would not what to be represented by anything even remotley close to the religions of today.
