by kls intonight is the night , i have direc tv and going to watch to fifth estate.my hubby will be here also.
i am realy realy nervous how he is going to react.
he could blow up and say it's all lie's, they are apostates and god warned he's people they would constantly be persecuted and lied about.or he won't even look at it saying they are apostates and i won't look at them they are the devil's voice.he always say's , you can't believe every thing you see on tv or reading the new's paper.i need you'r advice on how i should react with these situations.

What it does however is inform the public. It really takes away any claim that they are better than those "foul Katholics" or other groups. People will see through their "it's all love in our flock" scam. It will educate the people! Thumbs up!!

by unbeliever ini use to get the biggest chuckle when the elders insisted that when going out on a date that someone older and mature had to go with you to make sure you don't fornicate.

i have a friend (did the fade) that was stuck with her brother being the chaperone a couple of times when she was dating her then boyfriend.

by jesusstolemyhotrod ini think someone on this forum is a rat....or troll as i think they are called.. i am sitting at home last night watching fear factor, and there was a knock at the door.. i opened it to find two elders from my old hall.
they did not seem very sincere when they apologized for disturbing me without notice.. they said the purpose of there visit was to just to check up on me, find out if my circumstances or opinions had changed.
we ended up in a huge conversation about my "inactivity", they wanted to know if there was anything keeping or holding me back from the truth, and wanted to know if there was anything i needed to get of my chest, cause guilt has away of keeping people back.

Should jws eat bananas/potatoes?

i understand that bananas were/r considered phallic symbols, so should a jw eat a banana?.
also both bananas and potatoes were originally vitually inedible because they full of `stone' seeds.. i f god had meant man 2 eat bananas or potatoes,wouldn't he have made them edible in the first place?

correct! most food we eat today is modified to suit our fancy. oranges with no seeds, very small / big tomatoes almost anything has been tampered with.
fortunately(sp?) there are seedbanks storing the original species.

i would file a complaint to the body of elders in that congregation. Maybe you can write them a letter stating that you have been wrongfully accused, and that the elders visiting you did not follow regulations as beelzedub already stated. DEMAND that if any accuser exists that he comes foward and confronts you. simply deny and ask what HE was doing on such sites anyway. They have shot themselves in their own feet!
