Those songs are the worst
(((((Viv))))
(((Robdar)))
If I am stuck with one of those in my head I take out my discman and replace it with something more enjoyable...like Limp Bizkit or something [:)]
Sing along! *Keep rollin' rollin' rollin'*

Have you ever read anything from C.T.Russell, the founder of your religion? If not why not?
Have you ever read anything from J.F.Rutherford, from around 1919 the time they were chosen to be channel? If not why not?
Do you really know the history of your religion?
Do you really dig for truth? If so, then why do you only read material from the WTBS and exclude all other sources of biblical material?
How do you know you can trust them? Did you investigate? If not: why not?
Can you truly say you have investigated if you only read material from one side?
etc etc,
Hope this helps....

JWs and the problem of Creation en toto
by logansrun injehovah's witnesses will often scoff with scornful disdain at young earth creationists for believing that the "days" in genesis are literal and that the entire universe is only about 6 to 10 thousand years old.
what about the ages of rocks measured in the millions?
light from stars millions of light years away?

Ah..the famous life how did it get here -by evolution or creation? book.
That book is riddled with misquotes and misrepresentations (straw men) and uses every logical fallacy possible. It is largly based on another book called The Neck of the Giraffe by Francis Hitching. a crackpot that also wrote books on pyramid energy, earth magic and dowsing. The creation books quotes him often as a biologist, zoologist and evolutionist but this guy has not had any academic education. For fun do a search on Francis hitching and see what comes up!

When The Circuit Overseer Visited, Why Did You Do More Than Usual?
by minimus inwas it pressure, the desire to conform, was it because you thought that you could work in service with him???
were you trying to get appointed?
did you really think it was a "special week of activity"?

I just hated those visits! Not only did we need to re-arrange our schedules, almost everybody would get into some sort of trance and guilt atack.
People would gravel at his feet and being aware of that they started to behave like kings. Everybody tried to be Mister and Misses Holynut. The hall would be cleaned with zeal unknown of before. Meetings would be stuffed. You would meet people you hadn't seen for ages. The sheer hypocrisy of it all made me conclude that creature worship existed in our religion too, but most striking was the fear...I guess that if Jesus was to visit the hall people would shit their pants. They substitute fear for love.

Very powerfull!
Maybe you can add:
Working in a company that produces war equipment, even if you are only sweeping floors makes you bloodguilty and an accomplish, but owning stock in that same company does not?
Very well put together!
