Really enjoyed the CONvention....why?

i remember when i was a mind cleansed(tm) jw i would listen to the talks when i wasn't napping.. on the long tiring drive home i'd say how i ''enjoyed(tm)'' the sessions and felt ''encouraged(tm)''.. .....and yet i couldn't recall a single ''point(tm)'' made.

i couldn't remember what it was that actually made me feel good.. on one occasion i asked the family what they found ''encouraging(tm)'' or interesting.. tumble weed.

no examples.

the whole freaking 3 days are a mass hypnosis, from the early keen arrivals on day 1 through to the dumb experiences and crappy drama , concluding with the last song which can raise the roof and the final stupid closing prayer that drags on for what seems hours, thank God these things are nothing more than a distant memory.

Hi Legacy , agian reiterating what others have said the WTS is one of the very worst , destructive, dishonest cults that have ever existed and don't be fooled otherwise, also they have many of the the worst kept secrets that has made them the laughing stock to the millions that have found out about them, UN membership, homosexual members of their GB covered up for dacades, their peopdophile pardasise ( Silent Lambs) Malawi/Mexico, in time you'll find out this stuff.

How successful we're quickly builds in your area

i remember hearing about quickly builds how this was a sign of jehovah's spirit that the kh could be built in 3 days.

but what i am wondering is just how successful we're these builds.

i can think of a couple of halls that were built by the quickly built methods that i would suspect they would of lost money on.

I found the whole idea of the "quick build" not only cult like but staggeringly uncostaffective not to mention the dreadful workmanship that they all seemed to have suffered from, is there any quickbuild out there that never had rectifaction work done on it in the preeceeding months and years? One build I was on and I vowed never to go to another one after was showered with far too much labour with far too little to do, picture the scene, a brother stands there with a plank of wood , a sister stands there with a pencil, another brother stands there with a saw, brother puts the plank of wood on the floor , sister marks the wood with her pencil and brother saws the wood ! what an unbelivable waste of time and completly pointless and counterproductive and this goes on all day! our own cong had a referb not strictly a quickbuild exept in the last 2 weekends, the contractor was a JW company and the final job resulted in rectifcation work in which they charged for! a friend of mine who worked in the construction buissness said he could have completed the work quicker, cheaper and without the need for all the free labour and not have the need to repair the crap workmanship, dont get me started on the CA hall construction!

could it be just a couple of the younger ones or all of them or none of them or do they get others to read and post on the forum on thei behalf.

i saw in a news article that you can hire social media and internet agents to manage your online profiles on your behalf.
