What the Governing Body found out when they ' did the math'
by Esse quam videri instephen lett may 2015 broadcast.
14:45 ... the governing body very much feels the urgency of accomplishing as much as we possibly can, in behalf of kingdom interests, knowing that the great day of jehovah is near....
... in an effort to inform you of the support that is needed for this great work, i have the following information to share.

they seem to have very short memories or be rather selective in recalling certain events, how much did the real estate sale from Brooklyn reach? $600 million? is this just swept under the carpet or left for a "rainy day!" -

Need help on Resurrection
by Bella15 ini hope all is well.
recently my uncle ( my mom's brother ) passed away, he was never a jw but evangelical christian all of his life, never accepting my moms teaching.
so my mom in facebook keeps on making references to other family members when her brother comes back in the resurrection and live in the paradise ...i thought that worldly people who is not jw will not going to be resurrected .... what is the current teaching on resurrection for nonjws?...

what a ludicrous doctrine this resurrection nonsense is! what have estimates shown to be the amount of human beings that have died over the last 6 thousand years? 300 billion plus? what a wonderful prospect! -

Bethel Meeting at Regional Convention
by MrTheocratic ini decided to go to the bethel recruiting meeting yesterday to test out my theory that the organization is in decline.
i assumed that if there is a general feeling of apathy by many in the org, then certainly it would be shown up by the lack of enthusiasm or zeal by many to sign up for bethel service.
well let me say that based on what i observed, this organization is not going anywhere.

Updated Chronological Timeline of the Great Tribulation -- after the New Light from July Watchtower
by FusionTheism inthe july 15, 2015 study watchtower article entitled "your deliverance is getting near", along with the jw broadcasting video entitled "gerrit losch: fortified by "the prophetic word," and chapter 21 of the god's kingdom rules!
book presented a large amount of new light or clarified understanding of the events of the great tribulation.. here i am presenting it in chronological order -- this is the governing body's updated chronological order of events for the time right before the great tribulation through armageddon:.
the final sealing of the anointed occurs just prior to the outbreak of the tribulation.

Within one minute JW with trolley directs me to JW.org
by steve2 ini live in relatively small seaside community (regional population around 45,000).
in my ten years here, i've had witnesses call on me perhaps twice (not special visits but during door-to-door).
whereas they once canvassed door-to-door much more frequently - and in larger size service groups - there is quite a decline in their door-knocking - at least in this region.. with the advent of the "trolley" work, their visibility has increased - but i'd estimate only marginally.

in my town, a normal smallish suburb with a high street about 100 yards long with a smattering of normal stores, banks, couple of pubs etc we have a main line railway station taking commuters into Central London, they situated their cart in the 2 station entrances had it pitched there for as long as these carts came into existence, I've noticed recently that the cart has moved about 60 yards away from the station entrances and they pitch it by a non descript 70's style bland smallish shopping precinct that has a far less amount of footfall, yes I believe the railway company have moved them ! LOL.
The very last chat I had with them some months back while they were by their carts, I mentioned their UN membership , the person asked if I had looked on jw.org to find out , I replied I had and found it strange that it didn't mention it at all, just the usual blank stares ensued!

I disfellowshipped my parents this week..
by fulano ini just wrote them a mail, telling them to not contact me any more under any circumstances, illness or death (79 and 83 years old).
unless they leave the cult and would apologize for our f*'.ed-up upbringing which ruined our whole life.

I never lowered myself to their debauched levels, I keep a door open for anyone, raise above them , this sort of behaviour only reinforces their distorted view of all who leave "jehovah" my mums dying wishes were that I was NOT to attend her funeral, she took years of anger, hatred and bitterness to her grave, I certainly wont be. -

I think its very naive to observe 1 single recruitment meeting for Bethel at a DC than assume that all things are rosy in WT land when there are a ton of factors that show things are definitely not ;
growth rates world wide in former long established traditional WT stronghold countries in minus/zero and minimal growth, Japan, Germany, Poland, UK and a vast percentage of mainland Europe etc
congregations being merged, liquidated
whole sale worldwide sell off of KH's and Bethel branches
the quick fire sell off of the Brookyln estate
the TV evangelist style of begging for more funds from the R&F
scaling down of DC's
how many actually get called on in the D2D field work?
more and more civil and criminal lawsuits going against them
massive downsizing of their printing
their charitable status' being scrutinised worldwide
an organization going nowhere? even hardened WT opposer's like many of us here could never have predicted any of the above 10/15 years ago, the ongoing sexual/child abuse lawsuits could eventually destroy them.

Summer Convention at Twickenham now gone, UK
by jookbeard ini believe this is the first year that the uk wont have a summer dc at this historical old rugby stadium (which is now one of the finest arenas in the uk) the costs to rent it must be astronomical these days, and it appears they are having multiple dates at the excel arena in london plus milton keynes is being used , many memories for me from a baby onwards making the yearly trip there, the dusty old stadium, the long walks to the car parks, working on the field security, getting burnt to a crisp or being poured on, binoculars !
food tickets, meeting at the lion gates checking the talent, and on the final day drinking the local pub dry the barny arms, end of an era!

UA, you are right, I think it was only for a year or 2 or maybe it was when the International Convention was held at Wembley Stadium, I think it was the late 60's as my mum was baptised at Selhurst Park, Crystal Palace
