  their argumentation when presented with any facts that could compromise their belief system does show to me that they are stupid very much indeed, almost 20 years of reasoning with them has led me to believe this, only today I spoke with 3 of them at their cart, firstly was to speak about the Australian Commission hearing after some time we got onto the UN membership, the brother initially commented that they never joined and the stories surrounding their membership of it was started by opposer's, he then said that they did JOIN to use the library, I said membership of it was not required of it to use the library and never had, he blatantly lied and contradicted himself in a matter of seconds, their straw man reasoning, attacks on the person etc lead me to believe that I can get a more qualified argument about any subject with my 5 year old son, in the 20 or so minutes I spoke with them this morning I'd lost count of how many times they lied, no wonder they dont convert anyone these days, they've lost so much credibility, sitting there smug and oblivious to this huge news coming from Australia while the world is laughing at them makes them incredible hypocrites and stupid ones at that.

  i'd not heard of that site, so checked it out.

  it seems to be used by many active jws - its tumblr style archive is full of pictures of jws doing their thing.

  i'd not heard of that site, so checked it out.

  it seems to be used by many active jws - its tumblr style archive is full of pictures of jws doing their thing.

  JWs trying hard to hide in obscurity right now

  on other discussion boards where active jws participate i notice them deflecting questions about the royal commission in australia by bringing up child abuse statistics of other churches, ostensibly to demonstrate that there is nothing news worthy to see here... "move along!".

  they are trying to make this story disappear into obscurity, irrelevance, as if it's just part and parcel of big institutional life, particularly of the religious nature.

  oh, now they compare themselves to every other religion on the block?.

  doesn't one expect a bit more from the WTS as it is the organization god has selected as his channel? also they are meant to be receiving this wonderful "holy spirit" and blessing, quoting stats from other religions makes their argumentation appear very weak indeed. Proportionally dont they have a scandal of this sickening abuse far worse then all of the so called churches of Christendom put together? I dont see them recovering from this IMO

  Gay times at Brooklyn Bethel

  leo greenlees and percy chapman have been exposed as practicing a gay lifestyle while serving at the world head quarters of the watchtower religion.. in this photo greenlees is at the left with glen how to his right and then nathan knorr who has chapman to his right.

  i've seen this photo before many times.

  it's in jim pentons book, but i never noticed greenlees left hand is holding how's right at his bottocks.. quite the gay times at bethel i'd say.. .

  Ewart Chitty has been omitted, also note that the predatory rapist Greenlees and Chitty where simply moved from their positions in Bethel to postings in the UK and Canadian branches respectively

  Where Are They Now???

  i was raised as a witness and i remember many of the old timers.

  many of the elders are no longer serving.

  it seems like almost anyone that wad married and had kids.

  my record so far since officially leaving and divorcing my jw wife in 1995 is as follows;

  1995-2002 called once, never knew who I was, invited them in and had a good chat, never called again, although the Mormons would call 2 or 3 times a year

  2003 - 04 never called

  2004 - 07 never called

  2007 - 2012 , never called

  2012 to present ; no calls,so in 20 years since leaving and living in a capital city of a 8.3 million 1 solitary call, so much to their claim of "speeding up the preaching work!"

  Ray Franz and You.

  if ray franz would have kept his mouth shut and not disfellowshipped, and remained part of the governing body how many of us ex-jw would still be trapped in the cult?.

  what did for me was a radio programme with the subject of the danger of religious cults,this was the time of the WACO siege, the expert on the show came from The London School of Economics, as the show came to an end the presenter asked if anyone listening would like advice etc to phone the show , I called out of curiosity, Franz' work became available to me a couple of months later, after a few weekends of secretly reading ISoCF the final block had been laid in my departure from the WTS, The only real info I had on Franz ( I'd never even heard his name) was that he was the nephew of the president and was a GB member who "apostatized" My elder father visited Bethel in NY on a business trip in the late 80's someone there had filled him in with some of the issues surrounding him leaving and the 1984 witch-hunt , he'd let a few things slip out to me and this clearly stirred my curiosity.
