by Terry ini always sit in the same spot, just outside starbucks in a vestibule area with a table in the air-conditioned space.
i say "always," but not today.. somebody with two laptops and a table filled with business ledgers was in "my" favorite spot!.
so, i took a tiny wooden table inside the coffee shop on a long padded bench next to 3 other identical tables.. as the clickbait banner ads like to say: "and what happened next was simply unbelievable!".

I Made the Literature Trolley Run Away Today - Twice
by cofty ini popped into town this morning to buy an anniversary card for mrs cofty.
it is market day on a saturday and it's tourist season so the town was very busy.
here is a picture of the scene from a year ago... two cult carts were in their favourite place being guarded by none other than one of the elders who was on my judicial committee, his wife and another jw woman in her electric disability buggy.

Can disassociated ones get reinstated without proving repentance?
by maksutov inone of the jw high-ups questioned by the australian royal commission (i think it was o'brien) stated that those who had disassociated (as opposed to being disfellowshipped) do not have to undergo a lengthy reinstatement procedure of proving repentance over many months, but can simply ask to be reinstated immediately.
is this true?
has anyone heard of this ever happening?.

yes it was O'Brian, I've never heard this before (I'm DAed) but I've never known anyone being allowed back after being DA'ed , I dont even know what procedures one needs to go through -

the guy I usually see there recognized my today, ( we had a long chat last week) an elderly chap, very friendly and amiable, not the usual hard nosed, insult throwing, uptight kind, I did inform him the the RC is into its 7th day and is being screened live on YT, and that GB member Jackson has refused to attend! he smiled and claimed not to be interested, I also tried to clean any snippets form the RC this summer, he claimed to have attended Bournemouth, oh well keep plugging away! -

exactly the same thing happened to my jw wife, screaming hysterically , hands over her ears etc, she had other issues affecting her mental health unfortunately, it was a difficult time, I found it incredibly difficult to cope, we divorced in 1995, the marriage lasted 5 years, was a shame. -

their argumentation when presented with any facts that could compromise their belief system does show to me that they are stupid very much indeed, almost 20 years of reasoning with them has led me to believe this, only today I spoke with 3 of them at their cart, firstly was to speak about the Australian Commission hearing after some time we got onto the UN membership, the brother initially commented that they never joined and the stories surrounding their membership of it was started by opposer's, he then said that they did JOIN to use the library, I said membership of it was not required of it to use the library and never had, he blatantly lied and contradicted himself in a matter of seconds, their straw man reasoning, attacks on the person etc lead me to believe that I can get a more qualified argument about any subject with my 5 year old son, in the 20 or so minutes I spoke with them this morning I'd lost count of how many times they lied, no wonder they dont convert anyone these days, they've lost so much credibility, sitting there smug and oblivious to this huge news coming from Australia while the world is laughing at them makes them incredible hypocrites and stupid ones at that.
