  so look at census returns see that we are declining and our growth is bogus and then undertake multi billion dollar construction projects worldwide! I've never heard of anything so daft in my life! They are still planing to go ahead with the UK Branch relocation, but have been selling off branches and KH's for a few years now, I wonder why?

  so these 30 vast construction projects they are undertaking are for the sole purpose of the HOPE, that they could possibly attract new members not nothing whatsoever to do with the fact that they might be booming in these particular countries? If their membership/ growth figures are completely bogus then they would be doing exactly what the WTS is doing in making quick fire real estate sell off's. making thousands of full time workers redundant, slashing the printing etc, they fact they are doing nothing of the sort must clearly show that there is some legitimacy to their official stats and reports, to suggest otherwise is just plain daft, you dont seem to ever look at the hard evidence for some reason and just continue to spout about the bogusness of their growth, which is rather strange

  Letter to be read at meeting this week about the downsize

  a family member who is a bethelite informed me today that there is a letter to be read soon ( this week or next) concerning the downsizing.

  so probably someone who has their midweek meeting early in the week will be able to fill in the details.

  why do they keep using the words "expanding and accelerating in pace?" when the exact opposite is happening, the printing is being vastly reduced, people aren't reading their materials any more, how many jw's are there in Saudi Arabia,Kuwait,Yemen,Oman,UAE,Bahrain,Syria,Jordan, Egypt, Algeria,Morocco,Libya,Tunisia Sudan,Somalia,Turkey,Afghanistan,Pakistan,Bangladesh,Nepal, Thailand,Loas,Vietnam,Cambodia,Myanmar, Kazakhstan,Uzbekistan,Turkmenistan,Kurdistan,Azerbaijan,Iraq,Iran, North Korea,Bosnia,Albania and more importantly India and China, who can count 2 and quarter billion folks in those 2 countries alone , a mere handful of jw's in those nations whose populations must be well over a billion, these quick fire sell offs of their real estate portfolio, suspension of major construction projects, closures and sell off of Branch offices are all for a major reason, the vast percentage of the worlds 7.3 billion population are not interested in their hate filled message.

  if that was not enough i saw her take a picture of me with my cousin.

  I would have walked up to her in front of the entire restaurant demand that she delete the picture or grab her phone of her, if she doesn't tell her you will sue her

  1) many who were on the destructive path have been transformed by their teachings (this includes me who was once vicious, and presumptuous and atheistic).

  2) equal monthly pay to all members of the bethel community regardless of whether they are bc members or sweepers.

  this is something that still remains as an unattainable dream for the world.

  Isw1961, "with careless need" you are right I did dismiss the good points, and for a very good reason, I'm very well qualified to do so, I was abused by my elder father who died in good standing in his local congregation, and yes I did pray to jeehovah to ask that the abuse did stop, yet it didn't , I "left it with "jeehovah" like many victims do and yet nothing happened, are you willing to address these issues, did you get the chance to look at the Australian Royal Commission into child abuse cover ups? are you aware of the Candace Conti lawsuit? have you heard of The Silentlambs website?

  dont forget census and surveys are not always right, we had the biggest survey/opinion poll compiler of general elections in this country "predicting" another coalition on the eve of this years general election, what happened?

  from the CoLDS own website it shows that the construction status of their temples world wide are; 14 under construction, 5 undergoing renovation 11 new temples announced, the projects are generally vast, expensive and constructed using the very best of workmanship and materials, whereas the WTS are having massive quick fire sale of the real estate portfolio, KH's being sold, Bethel branches closing and sold, new projects being suspended and halted,vast amount of full time workers being laid off,Co's reducing in numbers, Special Pioneers finished, DO's finished, printing is reduced massively as the world is no longer reading their hate filled nonsense , which group shows growth or decline? I see a lot of these projects are in South east Asia, Thailand a majority Buddhist country is having a temple constructed, as is the Philippines, even a few years ago you would have never thought TCoLDS having growth out there

  SBF I wonder if you read the forum topics on here much at all? for a few years now many threads have appeared on 1 day assemblies and the regional convention and they very small amounts of baptisms there are in them, some even report attending assemblies where there are zero baptisms, pretty much for Europe and the USA, here in London there have been merging and complete liquidation of jw congregations, is that a true piece of data that shows they are a "fast growing" cult? the girl next door commented that in her area of LA the car parks of tabernacles are full to capacity same here with the 2 close to me, that is hard evidence, not some cooked up dodgy survey, we are very qualified in what we are looking out for, I said earlier that the Mormons continually call around here in their D2D work and have a presence in the local town centres, I see them weekly, where I never see the jw's on D2D work ever around here,never at all, and on a few days a week you might see them lazily sitting around their stupid cart, playing with their mobile phones and gossiping, I suppose you just believe what you want to believe.None of these factors show that the CoLDS are in decline in the UK.

  one final point, always be very very careful when comparing yourself or the group you are a member of to Biblical characters, always ends in tears!

  unwittingly arose out of good intention!

  a rather pathetic excuse, and one that doesn't wash unfortunately , if I had a pound for every time I heard that

  "lashing them indiscriminately helps no one"

  oh yes it does, your group haemorrhage members, thanks to the electronic age , millions are waking up , leaving your dangerous high control groups , and leading a safer life that protects children and their own health, typical apologists like this make me laugh so much!
