  Jw's are better at screening people for baptism? are you having a joke? we dont call them a paedophiles paradise for nothing, you are attacking the validity of victims now which is uncalled for. proportionally they harbour a far worse child abuse scandal then the so called churches of Christendom which they continually attack, not a very good screening programme is it?   because their physical expansion proves otherwise, I know what I see with my own eyes or do you doubt that? the tabernacle close to me has been there before I was born I can remember as far back as I could possible remember because we used to drive past it every week on the way to the KH, a few years back possible 4 or 5 it underwent a big refurbishment and expansion, maybe 20 years or so ago the Ewell Surrey tabernacle was constructed, it is a vast building (Google it) and is packed out every week, the local traffic and car park shows this , I work very close to their London HQ, on Exhibition Road, it is packed out on a day to day basis, they queue down the road to get in, is that a sign of decline or growth? or are my eyes playing tricks with me? or I could be hallucinating?

  its not propaganda if there is hard evidence of these projects taking place, do they need to be making this stuff up? I spoke to 2 Philippina Mormons in my local high street a few months ago, they were on a missionary assignment so they can reach the Philippino community in the Uk, or are they making it all up? I remember the propaganda promoted by the WTS when Russia was coming out of the old Soviet Union, and the R&F were predicting with help from suggestive articles that there were possibly over a million jw's during the ban, how were there in reality? just over 60k from a population of over a 140 million, are rather poor return dont you think? then we were told that after the ban was lifted the there would be a huge boom in Russia, what was the reality?, another myth and propaganda is how many jw's there could be in China, there is a mere handful. The WT are past masters of spin and PR, dont be duped by them, you clearly are

  so look at census returns see that we are declining and our growth is bogus and then undertake multi billion dollar construction projects worldwide! I've never heard of anything so daft in my life! They are still planing to go ahead with the UK Branch relocation, but have been selling off branches and KH's for a few years now, I wonder why?

  so these 30 vast construction projects they are undertaking are for the sole purpose of the HOPE, that they could possibly attract new members not nothing whatsoever to do with the fact that they might be booming in these particular countries? If their membership/ growth figures are completely bogus then they would be doing exactly what the WTS is doing in making quick fire real estate sell off's. making thousands of full time workers redundant, slashing the printing etc, they fact they are doing nothing of the sort must clearly show that there is some legitimacy to their official stats and reports, to suggest otherwise is just plain daft, you dont seem to ever look at the hard evidence for some reason and just continue to spout about the bogusness of their growth, which is rather strange

  a family member who is a bethelite informed me today that there is a letter to be read soon ( this week or next) concerning the downsizing.

  so probably someone who has their midweek meeting early in the week will be able to fill in the details.

  why do they keep using the words "expanding and accelerating in pace?" when the exact opposite is happening, the printing is being vastly reduced, people aren't reading their materials any more, how many jw's are there in Saudi Arabia,Kuwait,Yemen,Oman,UAE,Bahrain,Syria,Jordan, Egypt, Algeria,Morocco,Libya,Tunisia Sudan,Somalia,Turkey,Afghanistan,Pakistan,Bangladesh,Nepal, Thailand,Loas,Vietnam,Cambodia,Myanmar, Kazakhstan,Uzbekistan,Turkmenistan,Kurdistan,Azerbaijan,Iraq,Iran, North Korea,Bosnia,Albania and more importantly India and China, who can count 2 and quarter billion folks in those 2 countries alone , a mere handful of jw's in those nations whose populations must be well over a billion, these quick fire sell offs of their real estate portfolio, suspension of major construction projects, closures and sell off of Branch offices are all for a major reason, the vast percentage of the worlds 7.3 billion population are not interested in their hate filled message.

  1) many who were on the destructive path have been transformed by their teachings (this includes me who was once vicious, and presumptuous and atheistic).

  2) equal monthly pay to all members of the bethel community regardless of whether they are bc members or sweepers.

  this is something that still remains as an unattainable dream for the world.

  Isw1961, "with careless need" you are right I did dismiss the good points, and for a very good reason, I'm very well qualified to do so, I was abused by my elder father who died in good standing in his local congregation, and yes I did pray to jeehovah to ask that the abuse did stop, yet it didn't , I "left it with "jeehovah" like many victims do and yet nothing happened, are you willing to address these issues, did you get the chance to look at the Australian Royal Commission into child abuse cover ups? are you aware of the Candace Conti lawsuit? have you heard of The Silentlambs website?
