the last chat I had with two of them last year ( a young married couple mid 20's they seem to do a set day in my town every week) I got onto a couple of subjects primarily the ARC and the fact that "you lot" seemed to be in the news a lot these days because of their child abuse scandal, I also spoke to him briefly about shunning, the problem was I was dropping too many loaded jw jargon and he was listening very carefully and then cut the chat off saying he couldn't speak with me any longer, what irony!

Apathy trolley chat
by punkofnice ini was in a different city this weekend so i decided to natter to 2 bored jws on the apathy trolley.i just nattered, nothing thought provoking or anti witness.
i was waiting for someone so hard time to spare.what struck me was, that no matter how many times i said that i don't believe in god, they spoke to me as if i did.
they kept asking me how god would feel about stuff.

Finding time
by Jordandemm inis it possible to full time pioneer while working a full time job without making up the hours?
i know of a brother who recently got married too a pioneer the guy was really desperate to get married because his wife despite her many 'spiritual credentials' has very few christ-like qualities unfortunately, anyway that's besides the point.
he is a pioneer now and i'm sure he will be a ms soon the organisation likes that type of stuff the 'pioneer couple' so it shouldn't come as a surprise.

I think its very easy, I knew one pionsneer in my old cong who worked full time and pissed through the hours 90/month back then, he claimed it was very easy to witness and place literature with his work collogues, he even claimed he clocked 18 hours in one day, it got him onto the pioneer school also, they have some easy ways to book masses of hours weather it be leaving a leaflet on the bus on the morning commute, going gas station witnessessing and leaving home at some god forsaken time in the early hours to walking from one end of the territory to the other over a day, a good few miles. -

I lied to the elders
by atacrossroads ini stopped attending meetings all together in january 2015. before that my attendance was irregular at best.
my husband followed suit a few months ago after months of research, agony, and indecision on his part.
from the very beginning i laid low and did not share with anyone what i found out about the witnesses because i did not want to be df'd.

another useless lazy way of counting hours, I remember one pioneer told me he'd start out some mornings at 3am to target 24hr gas stations, but the only people he could usually speak with were the staff, and in London and the surrounding areas all the staff who work in gas stations are from the Asian sub continent Indians,Sri Lankans,Pakistanis and Bengali's and and needless to say he wasn't very successful in making disciples! -

I've heard the Egyptian branch was closed so that a Super Bethel will be constructed in Algeria where the thousands of Bethelites from Egypt,Algeria,Morocco, Libya and Tunisia will be able to prepare for the great opening of interest from North Africa, but keep it quiet I heard it on very good authority and was told never to repeat it.
