i can remember a time when you couldn't make it from the convention doors to your car without being approached by at least one glassy-eyed apostate holding a sign or thrusting a homemade tract under your nose.

Strangely picketing worked for me, when watching the evangelical groups doing their bit at Twickenham , I often just would ridicule them always thinking that the true faith would always suffer persecution! But one year a leaflet was placed in my hand and I read it! The rest is history , good work Reachout Trust!

My 2 least favourite was the arrogant, haughty, intellectual superior attitude of the twat Micheal Purbrick who thought It was a rather good idea to promote a view the I was not fit (or spiritual enough) to marry my first wife(I was an elders son FFS LOL!)
And the 2nd was the twat M Hogdson who during my fade cornered me at his visit to bombard me with questions if I thought that the WTS was the org that God is using on earth etc etc

Ron Bicknell was on the circuit many moons ago, think SweetPea might know him as he came from the Penge area, when I was a kid Dennis Ashby was a C/O but was removed for being outspoken and unconventional , Bicknell was on the appeal comm of my J/C , a good man , that's a good list JWF, Dutton and Carter were D/O's at our C/A's often giving talks good speakers as well
