Jehovah's witnesses are the fastest growing religion.

is counting inactive Mormons any less of a proper gauge of growth then the WTS society counting unbaptized publishers and 1 hour a month publishers? which is a very pointless stat which they seem obsessed with still counting. Its a very pointless stat pointing out that the WTS have more KH's where a vast majority of Mormon meeting temples are significantly bigger, the temple near me can probably house 500 plus, maybe far more, where as I wouldn't mind betting a great majority of congs in the UK will be lucky to be getting 50/70 in attendance, how many times do we hear of stories of our previous congs that used to be 200 plus now are lucky to get anywhere near 50/60? -

I see more and more Mormons in street work and D2D in Central London and the suburbs than ever, they cover the territory in the suburb I live in very frequently, far more then the JW's ever do, just looking at that evidence must show they are growing especially in Northern Europe where the WTS is experiencing massive decline. Evangelical Christianity seems to be booming still in the areas of London where I reside, especially big in Inner London, I have also noticed a large number of industrial style buildings being converted into their places of worships, but see a fair few JW congs in London disbanded, sold off or merged, a couple of years back a smallish Mormon Temple/meeting place underwent a very large refurbishment/expansion just a couple of miles down the road from me, the main Temple in Epsom a few miles in the other direction continues to expand and causes traffic chaos in the area every time they meet, hardly evidence of a church in decline. -

Hi First Post Here
by Distracted injust wanted to break the ice and write my first post here and also talk about some things that are bothering me.
i don't go to meetings anymore and i have become inactive for years now.
i don't believe the witnesses have the truth more than any other organized religion.

The Shit Has Just Started Hitting The Fan For The WT Corporation, Nightmare Stage!
by Brokeback Watchtower inas with any course which is based on pure wishful thinking(which is the wt corporation based on) has different stages.. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/wishful_thinking.
some psychologists believe that positive thinking is able to positively influence behavior and so bring about better results.
this is called "pygmalion effect".

at least a decade the shit has been steadily covering that fan with thicker consistency! child abuse lawsuits, Candace Conti, etc, Panorama BBC programme Silentlambs, ARC, dreadful yearly declines in their former stronghold nations, Northern Europe especially the UK, Germany and Poland, a virtual standstill in Japan, losses on their investments, huge amount of on-line resources, non stop leaks from HQ, whole sale closures of KH's and Bethel branches, bethel staff layoffs,DO's finished, CO's being reduced, special pioneers finished, hard to see them ever coming back from this. -

Possible reason for cancellation of book study in homes.
by Amelia Ashton inthis was posted on fb.. so guys, i'm gonna share something with you all that i think you should know.
i've only told two people about this (one being john cedars) for fear of getting this guy into trouble, but it's very telling and will reaffirm your "ttatt faith!
a couple of weeks ago, i had to have an "ability to protect" assessment by a gentleman from a company that also investigates child protection policies etc.

very feasible, if true could see the 2 remaining meetings held in KH's under threat , possible knock on effects as to why so many KH's are being sold, branches folding etc -

London Bethelites Living on Their Nerves?
by The Searcher injust got home and received information from a source regarding london bethel: .
a bethel couple told my source that they are getting rid of about 20/25 bethelites every week and that if they are to go, they will get called in on a friday and given their leaving date.everyone is "on edge" and hoping that if they get the boot, they've got time to make alternative plans.. perhaps bethelites everywhere should apply this scripture, by looking for a job and accommodation now - and then just resign from their "vow of poverty" without giving advance warning.
(proverbs 22:3) "the shrewd one sees the danger and conceals himself, but the inexperienced keep right on going and suffer the consequences.".

BrokenBonz, there is still no biblical evidence that there will be a resurrection to a paradise earth after the GT of many hundreds of billions, nor what the state of these resurrected ones will be like, the WT promote the mad idea that these ones will lead a single celibate life on the new earth, its all fantasy, lunacy, made up as they go along, sooner or later theists like the WTS and other groups who believe in this life on a new world will have to contemplate and admit that there was pre Adamic existence on this planet, how are they going to factor in these hundreds of billions of folks living on a relatively small planet ? -

Not for Believers - could be hard to swallow
by The Marvster inwell now that i'm a confirmed apostate (a couple of the forum posters confirmed this today), gosh hearing myself say that is a bit frightening.... how the hell did i get to this place, well thanks to anonymity, my 'still in' family don't know this yet... .
after a whole day of watching various people describe their differences with creationist ideas, i'm finally watching this one.... it's tongue in cheek and is hilarious to watch....(this is not meant to mock people's belief in god as such, but more to do with how creationist speculation seems to go against openly available data).
i noticed that some of the arguments made by kent hovind, a creationist evangelist, smells very much like stuff i learned in 'life how did it get here by evolution or creation', and in other publications trying to explain why some phenomena in the solar system etc points to the precision in the universe = there must have been a divine hand... i assume he didn't get the information from jw's, so i wonder who jw's were getting their info from.... well thanks to sites like jwfacts, it's as clear as day anyway please don't watch if you're not ready to take in the copious amounts of data expressed to counter creationist claims... i'm only 20 minutes in and it's pretty devastating to creationist argument, the author of the video encourages each watcher to go do the math themselves where possible, stating even a high school education will give you enough tools to check out the figures and see if they add up.... (oops, that might be a problem for your die hard jw).

Oh, and Freddie Franz says, "Thanks an effing bunch!"
by rory-ks inthe faithful and discreet slave are free to look back now and make a mockery of whatever beliefs were previously held by jehovah's witnesses.. they are also free to make types and anti-types of some parts of scripture, and not of others.
they do that thing where they focus on one part so as to distract from the fact that they are doing the exact same thing with another part.. for example, in his talk featuring the new understanding of the "man with the secretary's inkhorn," geoffrey jackson goes on to say:.
we know in recent years we've been careful not to try and make types and anti-types of every aspect of what the bible says.
