how the hell did all the land animals, dinosaurs and other monsters get to ground level?

even if the continents were landlocked ( they weren't) it would have still been an incredibly vast distance for the Australian marsupials to get to and from the place of their natural habitat, also the marsupials(the koala bear) survive in a completely unique habitat with a unique diet, they sleep 18 hours a day! if Australia was locked into other continents it would have completely changed the entire eco system of the country in regards to climate,what natural produce is grown there etc. The Great Flood and the Adam and Eve fables get more and more ridiculous the more one delves into them. -

The Elders are Coming Help!
by LaurenM inso the elders keep bugging me and pestering me about having a meeting with them to "introduce me to my new congregation" for some reason (do any ex elders know what that even means??).
i keep postponing and making excuses and they are getting more and more aggressive.
i finally agreed for them to come over today, but really don't want to..should i hide from them again?

guns are not legal in the UK yet we have shootings on a daily basis, gun crime is at endemic proportions here, logic tells me; ban anything and it will go underground perhaps to an even higher level when they were legal, I think an often quoted example here is the waiting list on the HNS for a non emergency operation is up to a year, know the right contacts and a gun and ammo can be delivered to you within an hour! -

Changes and why
by Formerbrother inso far these are all the recent changes i know of, please add more if i have missed anything.. 1. all construction projects have either been stopped or reduced.. 2. all bethels are downsizing by at least 20% within one year of the announcement, and almost certainly more in years to come.. 3. remaining belelites will have to make their own food, do their own washing and cleaning.. no more laundry department, no more kitchen and waiters, no more housekeeping!.
and you still only get 80 per month, but no rent or bills, and food will be provided in the family fridge but you have to prepare it yourself.. as to why, it has been said several times officially its not because of a lack of funds, but how could that possibly be the truth?.

the monopoly on God, only you can be saved if you join us, typical of every single cult out there, they have distorted the message of Christianity so severely that if you challenge any jw or cultist to give to their version of the Kingdom of God and the message of what Christianity really is with a few sentences then only read what the Bibles hope is for mankind they are a million miles apart, they have elevated men to be as almost and sometimes more important then the Creator and Jesus Christ himself, look how CT Russell and his followers called him The Faithful and Wise Servant, how that bumbling old fool Fred Franz was the Oracle, and how the modern day Governing Body members are likewise worshipped, how many Christian groups are there? 40,000 odd? they is no them and us, we are all in it togther, the jw's claim that god has always had a select group of people for his name from the Nation of Israel onwards to Christians from the 1st century to now, that logic and reasoning is so fundamentally flawed it is laughable. In a nutshell they would be as far as possibly could be removed to be nearest to having the truth then any other religion out there, I find it hard to believe that a high control dangerous group like them could be classified as such, they have a history of many failed doctrines and prophecies,blatant lies and dishonesty, still cover over proportionally the worst child abuse scandal that could hit any church or group out there, sorry but a massive fail from me and many many millions more

CEDARS (Again) Is it really about religious beliefs?

i acknowledge that he is entitled to his opionin just as we are ours but i am disappointed in some of his comments.. at this stage i'll try to be objective about it.
he is defending his own position after all.. what bothers me most is his comments about athiests and christians which he seems to identify as being in conflict with each other.

that's generally how they seem to act Cofty, I've been on the receiving end of this type of behaviour as has Cedars in recent weeks, shame really, no chance at all that we can just try and get on with our activism together, their stupidity and childishness is breathtaking at times. Very early in my fade all those years ago I came across this behaviour from a very well known UK outreach group whose founder died a couple of years back, I always wondered why I was excluded from their activities and thought that my experiences in leaving the WTS could have been a help to others who contacted their group, I believe they had a role called an Area Representative or something very similar, yet I never heard anything from them ever, because I never embraced their version of evangelical christianity, in conversations I'd had with them I was told in no uncertain terms in was imperative I become "born again" and join up with one of their approved churches, I learnt that one former exjw who is a good friend now was subjected to even far worse name calling, ridicule and judgement because he dare question them over some minor doctrine, I wish they could see how many times they go wrong.
