Admins & Mods ... who are they?
by Tallon inthis is just a general query, and am hoping someone can clarify.. a lot of web forums usually list the usernames of the admins & moderators.
i have not seen listed, unless someone can show me otherwise, the admins & moderators of this web forum.. from what i can gather, simon is the owner & admin of this web forum.
scully has just locked a discussion thread - so i'm guessing that s/he is either an admin or moderator.. who are the admins & moderators ?.

Outside JW World They Barely Exist
by Farmer Jim1 inis anyone else staggered by the fact that outside of the organization most of the general public seem to know very little or nothing about jw’s?
when i was in i was led to believe that 99% of the worlds population had been giving sufficient warning, knew what it was all about and were stubbornly sticking to their immoral ways.
the reality seems to be that the entire jw universe is barely noticeable to the masses.

never been staggered, their vehicle of presenting this life saving message has always been a joke, the example I always give them is if you could conduct a survey in a place in the capital where there are tens of thousands of people are passing through, a busy station, a shopping area etc and ask them what is the kingdom of god that the jw's preach 100% of every single person you ask would not have the foggiest of ideas their stock answers would be " the only thing I know about them is they dont take blood, bang on my door at inconvenient times and dont celebrate birthdays or Christians" pathetic really and laughable, 7.4 billion people on this planet and rising and how many have any idea about them!

I think a mixture of both Cofty,the best thing is if this rubbish is removed for all parties concerned. Charlotte can I ask you what the benefit of this poison you have posted is for and what you expect the response would be? Joel Martz is a very seriously disturbed individual who for whatever reason has led this campaign agaisnt Evans for a couple of years now, he has issued death threats to him and continues a campaign of hate and slander against Evans and his young family, this Petrovich chap does not even exist, Joel is you are reading this go and crawl back into the hole you've come from, the world of activism is better off without you.

he has addressed this accusation of an alleged text message to a 14 year old while he was an elder in the UK and he was removed for, this is old news and just more shit stirring, whether you love or hate him he's a happily married man with a young daughter trying to do the best he can. Pale.Emperor Meets A Born Again Christian
by pale.emperor inof all the religions out there one religion that's always filled me with exasperation was the born again christian belief system.
to make matters worse, the street preachers i see and hear here in liverpool always tend to be crack pot, loud mouths, attention seeking and just plain annoying.. this idea that "im going to heaven, you're going to hell" is enough to make me not want to worship their god even if he did exist.
but today i met two.

SummerAngel; I've been encountering evangelical Christians for well over 20 years and they generally sing from the same hymn sheet, homophobic and hate filled and salivating at the prospect of billions dying an agonising death just like the jw's do, sad and pathetic, this is nothing new.

sounds like the lot that congregate on my high street while the jw's hide gingerly behind their carts doing nothing, the last time I saw the group of them a young African kid off his head was screaming from the top of his voice without let up, I had my young kids with me so I couldn't give him a piece of my mind.

Why I lost my religion
by Sour Grapes ini was a jw for over 50 years and recently just stopped cold turkey going to the meetings.
years of sitting at the meetings with the boredom, the gloom and doom, repetition of doctrine, the gloom and doom, the fake love, the gloom and doom, the end being so close, do more - do more, just got to be too much for me to stomach.
i stopped praying to god and no longer thank god for the food before i eat.
