Gay Marriage - The War for Equality

i thought i should present a clear message on what i think the gay marriage issue is all about.
the trouble with most discussions on this issue is that it gets clouded by a plethora of side-issues, non-issues, cave-men chest-thumping and medieval puritanism.

How Many Here Still Attend Meetings Sometimes?

if so, how often.. do you still attend the memorial?.
i never go, ever, and haven't been to a memorial in about 6 years (been too long to accurately remember) - i'm too far gone.

It was strange for me the first year and a half to two years - I used to ride my bike a fair bit for exercise, and I'd see the dubs going to they're meetings and it seemed odd not to be going. Now I cannot even imagine going.
I went to a funeral about two years ago - I got to the outside of the Kingdom Hall, and just couldn't bring myself to go in. The bad memories ensued, and I just couldn't think of standing there while people sang those crappy kingdumb melodies.

Huh?
I thought that Jehovah provides! How about all those people in third world countries that can hardly afford food, yet they walk ten miles uphill both ways in hurricanes (according to the WT) every meeting??? So he doesn't provide, yet he does provide. Are people really that stupid?

I was wrong
by Junction-Guy inthis is hard for me to say, i don't even know where to begin.. .
first off i was wrong for judging a whole group of people based on the actions of a few others.. .
there have been many courteous replies from some of the gay posters on here, and i know it must have been hard considering all the things that i said.

Buddy, honestly - have you considered professional help? I mean real true professional help? I admit it - I've seeked it out. It's hard to leave the dubs and get through all these emotions - and on these websites, you can say anything you want, and it can be misconscrued in any way. I know, because I've been there, done that. You can also say things to people that you would never really say in real life - like me telling you to seek professional help. Or you going onto gay threads constantly, whining and yacking about homosexuality endlessly. How many times have you seen me on them in the 4+ years I've been here? Other than lately, pretty much never. And I am one! What am I implying? What everyone else is, basically.

When they've been sitting in an assembly for 6 hours, it's hot, and they can't sit still.... just beat them. Oh, and go out for dinner after the assembly so they have to sit some more too - and beat them.
