My wife was born into this religion. She's fine with the sheparding call and she gets very defensive if I inquire about it. She is completely absorbed by everything they say and NEVER QUESTIONS ANYTHING! If they were to ask her to separate from me - she probably would.

I've disassociated myself since February. I made no secret of my disapproval of the WTBTS and was very vocal to my doubts of it being God's true organization on earth to the PO. Now, the PO and another elder has scheduled to talk with my wife tonight for a sheparding call at the home of the book study. I'm sure there will be some talk about how her and I must not speak about spiritual issues.
This really has me concerned that they will turn her against me even more.

What do you think when people tell you to just "Move On"?

I think people just want you to heal faster than you are able. I've been disassociated for four months and I'm still shell-shocked over how I was completely blinded for nine years by a cult. I'm angry inside, but I want to help others. Mental healing will take time. Spiritual healing can be instant. It all depends on how you deal with it.

Well, I can only say that the "Signs of the End Times" has pointed to Lebanon as the location for the rise of the Anti-Christ. Otherwise, Lebanon is nothing special to a JW. In fact, JWs never show any interest in the Middle East. Only in other "false" religions.

What's the BEST thing about being "out" of the "truth"?

it's amazing how they teach you that only jws can be your real friends, but in reality, it's all contingent upon your religious "performance.
