  How can I prevent harrassment to my kids from self-righteous dub relatives?

  i live with my hubby and children outside of my native country.

  we will be going home for a vacation soon after many years.

  we're faders and most of our jw relatives have adopted a don't ask-don't tell policy about our decision and we are perfectly fine with it.

  i have been fading for years now and attend meetings very rarely these days.

  but something happened recently to make me think about going regularly again.

  a couple have returned to my congregation who used to be special pioneers here twenty years ago.

  Somehow I have the feeling I know you Candela... if you are who I think you are then call your older brother, the d'f one! He is da man with da mouth! Rest assured they see him and they will disappear... :)

  If you are not who I think you are, well I have a sister in exactly the same situation... and me being 'da older d'f brother will be there to 'intervene' and protect my dearly beloved nephews...

  10 Years!!

  this month marks 10 years since i sent in an "estimados hermanos" letter to my local kingdom hall, telling them to leave me the *&&^ alone.

  10 years of freedom from the cult!!.

  i've been criticized a lot in the past for writing the letter and playing "their game.

  Something you may not know about me ....

  is that i am unreasonably terrified of dentists .......i am talking panic attack ready to happen kind of fear ....and well this weekend one of my molars broke .

  i just made an appointment to see the doctor at 3pm .

  it has been so long since my last visit they didn't even have any information current on me ....i think it has been at least seven yrs.

  so far, i like needful things, secret window/hidden garden, and langoliers best.. guy at the bookstore said the stand was the best.. i just bought the shining and pet cemetary (book's in the other room.

  The Green Mile and the Shawshank Redemption are excellent examples of his overall writing abilities. Glad someone else loved Geralds Game and Rose Madder!! As far as really creeping you out I have to say that Pet Sematary is the numero 1, with Salem's Lot a close 2nd place. Love the Running Man written under the Backman pseudonym...
