I have the cutiest little furry brown wolverine I call "Manson" that loves to roam the neighborhood at night. Every time we fix the fence he just eats it down again.
Actually in all seriousness.....I have a female Boxer names "Sadie". She is my best bud. We always had a cat until ours got attacked by a dog.
Losing your pet is often as tough as losing a family member for many. That is the bad thing.......they live such a short time (dogs that is)

Yes larc....even Gods people in the bible made mistakes and Jehovah took them back....just as he has "taken back" Gods true people today.....and he has richly blessed them. How has he blessed them?
With shitloads of lawsuits, dwindaling numbers, he's taught them how to use better theocratic lying in their spirituall warfare. He has slowed down the number of deaths among then with better blood policies and acceptance of vaccines.
He has cut down on the number of brothers going to prison by allowing them to use their conscience and do alternative service....this has saved many from becoming someones bitch while in the can.
Yes.....all of this he has overlooked with his people and richly blessed them time and again.
It's those damn Catholics that he really hates! They are too damn wicked for even God to overlook.
i have a son who was disfellowshipped while suffering serious depression and who was not actively "sinning".. i feel this is outrageous and want to know how widespread the practice is.
please tell me what your experiences are, i am interested and want to try to get the brothers to factor this in, so we can stop losing people to depression.
I was not having depresion at the time........as far as severe clinical depression......but!
I think because of the strict lifestyle that is demanded by the borg.....causes an unhappiness in many that many are not aware of. When you are freed from the borg.....that feeling goes away.....then you can understand what this "feeling" is This feeling can be guilt, fear, worry because of feeling you never measure up in one way or the other.
I had bad depression after being DFed because all of my family and friends were dubs....it was all I knew. I felt like I caused all the trouble and messed up the family.
I would say in the 7 years I have been out....only this last year have I began to feel "normal" though I am on effexor that helps with mood swings. Learning that spirituality can be free of religion has helped a lot with my happiness.

the elders wife that really pisses me off, is the one that would boastfully announce that jehovah had provided her husband with a part-time teaching job, emphasising that his employment was "on the line" each year....but thanks to jehovah,(in other words) we are so fucking loyal and do many hours in field service and things that nobody could possibly know about ( but i'm letting you know indirectly) so my husband has an income to assist us in our pioneer service!

Wives are looked at at different...as well as the kids, when the man becomes an elder. I feel it is a natural role that is played that the organisationl system that they are caught in.......makes them become.
Not all are that way as has been said already. If they are good people to begin with.....generally they are as nice as the next person.
