  did you visit newly baptized people even if you couldn't count the time or placements?

  many avoid newly baptized people because they can no longer count time or placements.

  how did you function in this way?.

  I'll tell ya a little story.

  Before my daughter was baptised, she had a pioneer sister who befriended her when they moved to unassigned territory and away from our hall. She wrote my daughter long letters and my daughter was sooo happy that this sister took such an intrest in her. As SOON as my daughter got baptized, the letters stopped. This hearless bitch used my daughter to get in her frickin time and she broke my daughters heart. It all in getting in your time and placing literature.....not true fellow feeling.

  He didn't need a job. When he needed money, he just pulled a coin from a fishes mouth just like he did when they asked him if it was lawful to pay tax to caesar. Everyone knows fish have money in their mouth ya big sillys

  The Funeral

  as you all know my brother was buried yesterday.

  he was 33......... he did this ..........17 years after his father commited suicide.

  the funeral took place at the funeral home.......a witness elder did the funeral.....my brother is not a witness, but my mother is.

  My brother had tons of friends, and so many thought of him as a best friend.

  Many take their lives as a result of lonliness, but despair, if it's deep enough, isn't even comforted with love nor being surrounded by those who love you....sad but true.

  Another Deceitful Tactic by the WTBTS.

  as most informed jehovah's witnesses know, the wtbts is very good at painting a pretty picture of themselves by cleverly wording things to outsiders, yet not revealing the specifics of their beliefs.. below is an example from their official website regarding whether or not they shun members who choose to leave them.

  they do not tell the public of the interogation they impose on members who wish to quietly leave ( fade ).. notice they mention how they are more than happy to restore those who exit, but fail to mention the types of questions they ask to those who leave them.. while they admit they shun those who verbally express they no longer wish to be a jehovahs witness, they do not tell the public they coerce that very statement from those who try to leave peacefully and quietly.

  NEW Interview with Bill Bowen of Silentlambs on recent events

  the last interview i did with bill bowen was in april of 2003, and new things have happened regarding the pedophile issues in the watchtower's corrupt system led by ted jaracz and his corporate cronies.

  some things are the same (mainly wt policies), and others have changed.

  it took 10 years to develop some legal precendents to be laid down in order for lawsuits against the catholic priest pedophiles to move ahead, and some important legal precedents have now been established in court so as to pave the road for effective lawsuits against the watchtower leaders for their complicity in allowing pedophiles to remain in the congregations in good standing, some even as elders.

  for those of you who have attended an apostafest.... have you come away from a fest with a different opinion of someone who posts here than what you expected?

  have you ever disliked someone on the board due to a difference of opinion expressed here, and found out that, in person, you actually liked that person?
