  Be careful when you try to paste an image from another site.

  That happened to me scullymeister. I posted a funny pic and some bastard from the site changed my pic and made me look like a damn pervert. I copy images all the time....so if you see anything real naughty.....it wasn't me who did it......I swear to Jehovah and cross my heart and swear to Jesus and all the angels and whoever else is real important up in heaven.

  The idea of dying and going to heaven is not a bible teaching, but receiving heaven while still alive is.

  And just where does the bible say that god lives? Is it not in the heavens? If I remember right....Jesus was caught up in the clouds ascending upward when he left the earth....no?

  The fact is...at least in my book.....is that nobody has a damn clue where we go when we die because nobodys ever came back to tell anyone, and that includes ghosts cuz all they do is scare the hell outta people cuz their arnry little bastards.

  As for the hope of the resurrection, well.....I guess it's something, but in the meantime, they believe that their loved ones are just dead in the ground-----what frigging comfort is that?

  Acadian, that was an interesting read and I like the way the author speaks as he is easy to follow. You'll find however that there are other other cultures of people with ideas of multiple heavens and the jews adopted these same ideas. Why would god tranfer Enoch yet not transfer Moses, or Noah, or Abraham as these men walked with god the same as did Enoch? Whats the difference if god kills you or you die naturally? Btw...when are we getting together to share the peace pipe

  If heaven is so great why doesn't any christain want to go there? They do every thing possible to stay on earth. Even Christ resurrected ones to keep them on earth. Even the anointed ones at Bethel try their best to stay around as long as possible. Doesn't this show hypocrisy? Do they really believe what they teach?

  I've often wondered the same as you do. Why do witnesses greive so hard when they lose a loved one when they know this loved one has a guaranteed spot in the New System and will be resurrected......especially when they feel the end is only a short time away and the resurrection hope will follow? Why do ANY believers grieve so badly at the death of a loved one when these have a hope of eternal life?

  In all fairness, nobody wants to lose someone they love.....even if they have a hope, but it seems the greiving process of a believer is just as hard as a nonbeliever losing a loved one.

  People with multiple sex partners in their past, present and future?

  what i have wondered, is how true were the witnesses about the psychological affect of having multiple sex partners in our lives?

  i remember reading, and hearing in talks, that people who have turned themselves into the type of person who engages in indiscriminate sex, will suffer depression, problems in relationships and illnesses related to such a life style.

  this line of fear was often drawn, to make a young person in the congregation fear the idea of having sex out of wedlock, and perhaps be enough to control the extreme drive of their hormones in early years.

  All the guys that I've seen who have had many women in their lives always get tired of it in time and they want to settle down and be loved and to love some themselves. Yes, they have experience of what it's like to have sampled sex with various ones, but they aren't any happier than a guy who has only had one gal in his life. Most will tell you it really wasn't that big of a deal......hard to imagine, but that's what they say.

  I was watching "Hollywood's Worst Murders" and it had a part on Bob Crane....the Hogans Hero's guy. He had an awful fetish for sex and it consummed him. I think there are people who have abnormal desires just as do people who eat to much, or spend money with no restraint......and they never seem satisfied.

  "Being with someone you love is better than breeding thousands of women you don't love". ( Proverbs 69:69 )

  Their ecclesiastical authority according to them comes from Jehovah as Honesty pointed out. As proof they'll point to the scripture which says "it isn't to the wise he has revealed the sacred secrets to, but to the unlearned"....or something like that. Few of them have/had an intrest in the bible as did Fred Franz, their oracle and principal writer. Material they now print comes from his dogma for the most part.

  Requirements to be of the slave class is 40 years of faithful fulltime service, being a company man, being a kissass suckup to those above you, being a white guy, learning from only JW related material, and a few others.

  many people use job 26:7 to show how the bible teaches that the world is a sphere and hangs in empty space.

  in reality the bible teaches that the world is flat, circular and supported by pillars (most bible scholars agree with this).

  in job 38:6 jehovah corrects job and says.

  The word "circle" in the bible in that particular scripture does not mean like a ball ....but rather like a plate, flat but circular. You'd think some of the 'scholars' within the Watchtower organisation would know that.
